We visited after New Year's and ate the best revythada and kokkoras krasatos dishes, both local specialties. The cook was a character. The place is very cosy in the interior and the service very friendly despite the high season which often makes a lot of restaurants and hotels to lower their service standards. The size of the dishes is enormous, even the starters. Very good price for value. Visiting Arachova and omitting a visit to Oistros for local cuisine is a miss.

We stayed in Delphi at Kastalia Boutique Hotel which is lovely. The restaurant next door (attached to the hotel) is Elia. We chose this due to its proximity to our accommodation and because of the terrace. We did not hold out high expectations for dinner but we were really pleasantly surprised. We ordered the mushrooms and mussels for entree and the gemita and lamb chops for our main. The food was delicious; well-prepared and homestyle Greek food. Simple food at its fresh best! There are great drinks available, including excellent cocktails at reasonable prices. The wait staff were attentive and helpful. The terrace view at sunset is something to really strive to do. It was a highlight of our Greece trip so far! Highly recommend Elia by Kastalia and would return again! We visited this place which is usually crowded. Pasta was not good and pizzas nothing special. Prices are a bit high compared to the quality. For a basic pasta dish i paid 8.5 euros and service is a bit low. Better places around.

"To Tsoukali" restaurant is an amazing culinary experience. Yani sat down with us and carefully curated our dinner based one what we liked (Which we eat everything especially my husband lol) and it was wonderful! His staff is very attentive and our dinner was probably THE best dinner and experience we had in Greece. Thank you Yani for your attention to detail and allowing us the honor of tasting your delicious food! Hopefully we will be back. Thank you!
