Small, exquisite menu; high quality of ingredients; nice and casual atmosphere in a small, modern facility; friendly staff. Remote location; you would probably not go there by accident.

in this restaurant you get a aproximatly good food at a very reasonable price, but dont expect a fine meal, its just food, there is no presentation and if you want you can make it better yourself at home, you will safe a lot of money !!

We went to fill up with petrol in the area and asked where we could have lunch and the lady recommended the Sparrenhof. We followed her directions and found the restaurant, it was late for lunch, after 1.30pm, but we were made welcome. The waiter spoke very good English and brought us an English menu. We enjoyed our lunch, Scampi Sparrenhof and Rib Eye Steak, both with large bowls of chips. The drinks were cold and refreshing and the toilets were immaculate. This was a good find as we are often driving through the area - the food and drink were good value for money,

We dined here with friends on 2 evenings .. Service was excellent and the food was delicious .. Beautifully cooked and presented .. Do try the Flemish stew .. Succulent and full of flavour a bargain at E13 and lots of it .. My only criticism was on the sat evening although we had booked we had to wait for 3/4 hour for our table as it was so busy .. Well priced and nice atmosphere

The taste is OK. For the same price we got far better food. Yet, it was very busy, seems many people find them very good.
