Someone said that this is the #1 diner in the US, I cannot prove that, but it is a great place to eat. Forget that it is a diner, it is a great restaurant with an extensive menu, great food and excellent serviceYou might not be able to prove it, but you can certainly agree with it! Kearny's best kept secret! It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised! Everything from the setting, to the food, to the owner - everything is enjoyable! John, the owner, made us feel like family as soon as we walked in. We felt like regulars already! Let me just say that their French Toast is the best French Toast I have ever had! They also gave us complimentary taste of John's famous crab meat soup. It was so delicious, we ended up buying their extra large bowl to take home! They also had us try their rice pudding. To be honest, I felt like I was at my grandparent's house - shoving food down my throat but we loved it! We definitely plan on going back very very soon!

Just anotherâs great Jersey diner. Large menu, great service and reasonable prices. Breakfast is always available and the omelette date fantastic. Good parking. Portions are large, with free refills on the coffee. Many choices of French toast. Great place for a family breakfast.
