Just flew into town for training and to visit family/friends. I decided to take my son to Bob's for breakfast. It's his first time and I have eaten at this restaurant since my elementary school years. Excellent service and portions. Great choice! Have to visit again . . . maybe during a cruise night. Check out this classic diner and relive the past in the present.

All American brunch place. You can tell it's been around for awhile. I had an omelet and it was fine but not the best I've had. My friend didn't really like hers. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I don't think I'd eat there again. Kind of expensive for quality of food.

Can the manager put down the newspaper he reads at the counter while guests are wondering where their food is? Can the waitress overcome her inability to understand an order in English? Does another waitress need to cover up the lack of training by bringing food sitting under a heat lamp for far too when she notices our server is overwhelmed with every aspect of waitressing? The Denny's generated coupon brought a 7 minute delay when we attempted to pay our bill. We would go back to this 24 hour location but Norm's is around the corner. Their staff is head and shoulders better in performing their duties and giving attention to their patrons.
