We were in Brandenburg just for a weekend. After a long walk along the Havel we ended up at Theaterklause. We were positivly surprised about the great ambient of the restaurant as well as the great hospitality (kids included!!!). Tasty food, no reason to complain, thanks for a great evening. Wir sind eher durch Zufall zum Abendessen in dieses Restaurant gefahren und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Wir fanden einen sehr netten und aufmerksamen Service vor. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und in sehr angemessenen Portionen (hab ich als Frau nicht geschafft). Selbst die Sauce Hollandaise war frisch und selbst hergestellt. Ganz groÃes Lob, wir kommen wieder!

The restaurant is relatively new and is a large, airy, new facility lacking in soul. There is an inside restaurant and a garden area. As it was chilly, we chose to eat inside. The menu had the usual gasthaus fare with lots of creative items. I had the Brandenburger and my wife a dish called Fang das Hänchen. The wine list featured many familiar names from all over Germany and Europe. We found the food ingredients and preparation to be above average. The service was friendly, accurate and prompt. The prices expensive compared to the quality of the food and beverages. Still, we would recommend the lokal genial.We ate in the two Beelitz restaurants rated top by Tripadvisor and found this to be the second best, based on food, preparation, service and price.

but it would have been nice to have a greater number of selections on the menu, perhaps a bit less expensive. If one is there for several days, and there are not many other places to go, one keeps returning to the same entrées. These are excellent. We enjoyed the specially prepared asparagus al dente, prepared with very little water, thus conserving the taste of the vegetable. The service by both male and female staff was low key, friendly and very attentive. The acoustics of the room, f you happen to be in a group of people, is very live and it becomes difficult to hear. All in all, a great place. Dear guest,thank you very much for your feedback.We take your critism very serious. We agree it stands to reason that guests who stay longer need a bigger choice on the menu. We make sure to sort something out to make your next stay culinary more various.Warm regardsLandgut Stober

We were on our way to Potsdam when our GPS led us to the ferry crossing. Right there is the Faerhaus Caputh. We decided to stop for dinner and had a wonderful meal. Service was good, view to die for, english Menu, and very reasonable. Dinner for 2 about $65. We even came back 2 days later too. Dont' hesitate to go.
