We like Newk's - we go weekly when there is one near us. This is not our "going out for dinner or lunch-it is a special time" place. It is our go to place for reliably fresh food that is prepared on site.Servers are friendly and helpful. Lots of extra's and plenty of self serve drinks. They have a vat of sweet tea made with Splenda.They have things for about every appetite and we like this group of restaurants. Refreshing when traveling!

One of the places have delivery service in town. Their foods were great! After some drinks with friends, I got their for a late meal (11ish), and my stomach was happy :)I attached here their delivery menu for your reference.

Have had Newk's Roast Beef Sandwich several times over the last couple of years. It's advertised as being medium rare, but this is the first time it actually was medium rare. All other times, it was served medium, which was good but not as great as this medium rare serving. I had my sandwich with a side of Simple Salad. half portion. My wife had Newk's Black and Blue Salad, which had sliced steak in it. Both salads were very, very good. Service was quick friendly. I still enjoy the comp selection of pickles and hot peppers Newk's has on the table in the middle of the restaurant, along with croutons and bread sticks.

Firehouse subs is my favorite "fast food" place. The food tastes amazing and I love their sweet tea with fresh lime. Yummy! On my most recent visit, the food presentation was not as appealing as usual. For example, on the Hook and Ladder Sub. It has ham and turkey. Well, my mom questioned the lady who brought out her sub as to why the two meats were separated into halves. She said the ham was on one half of the sub and the turkey was on the other. This is never usually the case since the ham and turkey are usually on both halves. Very odd! Then my bbq brisket and cheddar was kind of just clumped in the middle. Maybe it is new staff training. I hope they figure it out cuz I usually love their food.
