We decided to eat here as it looked busy but it was a bad choice. The owner was a nice woman who spoke good English so we thought we would be ok as we try to speak Italian and have had some disasters when ordering in the past! I ordered the mussels to start and fish for my main while my wife ordered the horse. The vegetables came on their own, followed by my fish. Next, my starter arrived while my wife still had not received her dish! If the food had been outstanding we could of accepted this, but it wasn't. The service is also very shoddy.

Een leuke bar, buiten het historisch centrum maar goed gelegen. We gingen er regelmatig op ontbijt (let op een Italiaans ontbijt is niet wat wij Belgen en Nederlanders verwachten). De eigenaar zijn uiterst vriendelijk en de klanten zijn voornamelijk mensen uit de buurt, dus heel weinig toeristen. Dat maakt de sfeer nog meer 'Italiaans'. Spreek je een beetje Italiaans dan wordt het alleen maar leuker en beter. Zeker aan te raden !

Do not be fooled by the name of the Restaurant, the only jazz you will find here is in the wonderful dishes cooked by the chef, Boris. Fresh local fish and seafood cooked with simplicity and elegance. We were greeted by welcoming staff, especially by Boris and his sister Laura, who also cooks some of the dishes (her tiramisu' is to die for!). They were also very kind with our little 11-month-old daughter and cooked special food for her. We felt at home from the beginning, and after being here twice all we can say is that we look forward for the third. We loved everything we ate here and everything about the place. Thoroughly recommended. Excellent food, very reasonable prices, and wonderful people. You will struggle to find better.

Pleasant environment, great seafood dishes, everything fresh, great tasting and reasonably priced. Now the downside: very hot inside and the AC was either turned off or not working (not clear). Also, slow service: anything beyond the appetizers will take some time... all in all, a good experience.

There is a genuine buzz and enthusiasm from the staff here that is a real credit to them. Along with a super helpful english speaking waitress we had an outstanding meal. The antipasti was all delicious, followed by pastas and meat you cooked to you own liking and accompanied by superb local wines......it does not get better apart from the pannacotta which was divine....OMG! We had about 8 taster/ starter , 4 main meals including a huge cut of beef, 4 desserts, 2 big bottles of water , 2 bottles excellent red wine, 2 fizzies, 1 lemoncello..128 euro. A similar quality meal at home would exceed 300 euro easily.
