The food is fantastic! Had the gallo pinto, the typical Costa Rican meal and it was perfect! The homemade bread is fantastic, daughter asked if we could buy a whole loaf. The avocado toast, best we have ever had. And the lemonade, wow!!! Everything was wonderful and we are so glad we found this place! Visited here for lunch after spending the morning at a pretty secluded beach about 10 miles away. We purposefully avoided the restaurants facing the beach. Found this little gem quite by accident. We ate here for breakfast one morning during our stay in Tamarindo and we were very happy that we came here! I ordered traditional Costa Rican food and it was amazing!! Our kids loved it as well. Definitely check them out!

My stay there with Caravan package provided breakfast, dinner and lunch buffer in this restaurant. Everything was great and wonderful during my family visit. I especially liked their grilled fish. Food selection was plenty and we never ran out of choices.

If you are looking for a fresh cooked to order breakfast served by the nicest family look no further than Jalapenos. Mike and his wife made us feel like part of their family while sitting outside in the cutest garden.The burritos were amazing. They were huge and delicious and filled us up till dinner time.If the setting and food weren't enough they invited us behind the restaurant to see and hand feed their chickens. For is city slickers from the US it was a definite highlight.

We enjoyed an amazing dinner for our large group and Jonathon our server was both friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We started with a complimentary ceviche which was delicious. We ordered a Costa Rica style filet mignon which did not disappoint along with grilled vegetables which we shared. Our wine, Canyon Road was both economical and an amazing Merlot for the price. Everyday from 5-6 pm we enjoyed Happy Hour at the Azul Pool Grill. Prior to that we had amazing servers, Frank, and Joseph around the poo who kept us fed and hydrated. One of our favorites around the pool were the Chicken Wings. Pass on the Nachos, not good. Service was both friendly and attentive. That's why we love Costa Rica!!

This was an incredible experience! Not only do you get a unique and delicious meal made in front of you while you relax, Noam also provides excellent conversation. Take the time to appreciate both the fine dining (each dish with a story and made from local ingredients, including from Noamâs own garden), but also Noamâs life story in general. You wonât regret it!Thank you Kate for being my first dinner of the low season: the two of you are so loving, and kind and fun. I had such a wonderful evening.

Went here at night with the family ,after getting recommended from Marriott. It's on the middle of nowhere! At first I was a little concerned..but ohh boy what a great Gem! Owner was fantastic! Respectful gas knowledge of customer service. I felt at home the whole time great vibe from the owner, food was amazing delicious ! Had a great time and will be recommending my colleagues from the company! Give it a try it's good local food ,,place is not fancy but dont be judging this fantastic place.Dear tascabront, thank you for your great recommendation. If your staying at the JW Marriott in Guanacaste I highly recommend taking a walk on the beach (during low tide) to Lolaâs for lunch. The food was great and the staff was awesome. The views were also spectacular
