I recently met a colleague at this establishment for a business lunch. Although it was crowded we were seated quickly and the service was excellent throughout the meal. My colleague had a lovely cheeseburger and it looked great. Actually he shared a bite with me and it was good. I had the gazpacho and it was a bit underseasoned but good. Could have used a bit more spice or jalapeno peppers for my taste. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was filling and delicious. Also snagged a couple of the French fries from my friend's plate. The portion was very generous. Overall a lovely dining experience and excellent service. The owner's wife came by and checked on us a couple of times and her personal touch added to the excellent dining experience. Try it but be prepared to wait. It is usually crowded at peak times. On another point, parking there is terrible. If the main surface lot is full, try the garage/deck across the street at City Springs. Free parking for the first two hours and very convenient with plenty of spaces usually available.

Our Southern dishes & libations are served with a creative twist & a smile. When we play with our food (& we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, & our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling & fry

We had read some of the reviews and were concerned about service but with our party of 16, things went perfect. Our waitress was very attentive even though it was in the middle of their Happy &Appy hour. All of our meals we very delicious. Some of the hamburger patties were not quite made to order but were fine. My daughter had chosen this spot and it turned out to be perfect.
