We chose Koukounari randomly among many restaurants located in cholargos. Based on the recommendation of the waiter (who was super helpful and courteous), we tried the koukounari salad, the stuffed mushrooms and the handmade ravioli with smoked pork and they were all amazing. We were delighted to have picked this place which serves good food in a proper and neat setting.

Alficon is a small and intimate restaurant. It may seem slightly out of your way, but GO!It will be worth the trip. Very welcoming and attentive service in an intimate home like setting. The food is excellent, I had a stunning spinach, pear and kiwi salad and the real show stopper is goat with fava beans. Delicious! Great wine too. An brilliant evening and highly recommended place.We thank you for your positive review of Alificon ! The food tasted good but everything was served with rice and the same decoration of chopped onion, tomato and lettuce. The Tash kebab and Hunkar was exactly the same stewed meat served with a different side - eggplant puree for Hunkar and rice for tash kebab. Very slow service and they brought dessert without taking away the plates from all the previous dishes. We had to make place and put them aside in order to eat the dessert. Although in general it didn't taste bad I don't think we would visit again.thanks for your taking time to leave comment. you are right with your criticizing, we are working on it. thanks again
