Ostrava (Polish: Ostrawa, German: Ostrau or Mährisch Ostrau) is a city in the north-east of the Czech Republic and is the capital of the Moravian-Silesian Region. It is 15 km (9 mi) from the border with Poland, at the meeting point of four rivers: the Odra, Opava, Ostravice and Lučina. In terms of both population and area Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic, the second largest city in Moravia, and the largest city in Czech Silesia. It straddles the border of the two historic provinces of Moravia and Silesia. The population was around 300,000 in 2013. The wider conurbation – which also includes the towns of Bohumín, Doubrava, Havířov, Karviná, Orlová, Petřvald and Rychvald – is home to about 500,000 people, making it the largest urban area in the Czech Republic apart from the capital, Prague.

Today I visited the restaurant for a lunch and it wasnât very tasty. I had a pork steak which wasnât very tasteful. The soup was fine. Price 250 KÄ is fine by me, but for someone may not be. Nevertheless I wonât visit again.Dobrý den,velmi nás mrzÃ, že vepÅový steak nebyl podle vaÅ¡ich pÅedstav, rádi bychom to napravili pÅi vaÅ¡Ã pÅÃÅ¡tà návÅ¡tÄvÄ a byli bychom rádi, když spoleÄnÄ pÅijdeme na to co pÅesnÄ bylo jinak než jste si pÅedstavoval, protože vaÅ¡e spokojenost je naÅ¡Ã spokojenostÃ.s pozdravem kolektiv restaurace KATÃÄ

The cafe was cosy and well-decorated. However, it was a bit small and it was full when we went around 5 pm. We had cookies which were disappointing. They were cold and hard, and small for 20 Kc per piece.

provozovatele pÅekvapila. Pamatuju zde jeÅ¡tÄ restauraci KORAS, ale dlouho jsem tu nebyla a pÅekvapila mne zmÄna. Byli jsme zde nÄkolikrát na polednà menu. JÃdlo vždy velmi chutné, za rozumné ceny, peÄou zde domácà peÄivo, které podávajà k polévkám a salátům zdarma. StejnÄ jako vodu s citronem Äi pomeranÄem.
