Let me start by saying my wife and I enjoy fine dining and have ate at some of the best restaurants around the world. I would consider ourselves as what you would call “foodies”. So after looking on tripadvisor we decided to book Maui Chefs Table as it was listed as number one for all of Maui. The setting was very nice with it being open air and allowed you to mingle with other guests as well as the chefs as they prepare each item. The dish sizes are very small, one or two bites and after 6 dishes, I was still hungry. Some dishes were amazing and some just ok. It is not worth the $150 usd per person and there is better fine dining on Maui. I would rather spend less money at Lahaina Grill and leave fully satisfied by having an amazing meal. Interesting concept but far from perfect, and for $150 is should be close to perfect. Mahalo for making Maui Chef's Table a part of your vacation. While we're happy you enjoyed the venue and format of the evening, we're sorry the cuisine lacked what you were expecting. The ticket price includes all courses, gratuity, a sparkling toast, bread service, and coffee. In our mission of supporting local ingredients, the cost and portions reflect that quality. We apologize you were not fully satisfied after your dining experience. We sincerely thank you for your feedback as it allows us to improve. Aloha!
