Warm welcome, beautiful dining room with an open fire which roared all evening giving out a wonderful heat and atmosphere. We (4) all ordered Gambiaâs al ajillo which was fabulous and then shared 2 chateaubriand which was seared on the outside and blue in the middle. A small barbecue was placed in the centre of the table so you could finish the beef to your liking.Overall a wonderful experience, good value and we will certainly eat there again.Thank you guys...Muchas gracias por su valoración. Called here for lunch on day after strolling along the Paseo Maritimo and working up an appetite, the restaurant was empty so we were a bit apprehensive, we needn't have worried. The young waitress lady told us that if we didn't like our meal, then we didn't have to pay for it, so we sat down, ordered drinks and a pizza to share and enjoyed watching the world go by in lovely surroundings in chairs with cushions.When our Pizza arrived you could see that it was home made, fresh and very hot and tasty, IT WAS SUPERB, a bit on the dear side but worth every cent.We can highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you like Pizza, well worth a visit even if only for a drink in nice surroundings.The restaurant is extremely clean and well presented and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

At last a decent restaurant in Banus!We had a delicious meal starting with Beef cheek in chilli and chocolate sauce, followed by suckling pig with jus and delicious slow cooked lamb. All of the food was executed brilliantly. Wine with our meal was very reasonably priced . The service was great and Eric (not v Spanish I know but he assured us he was) the chef and proprietor along with his mum run a first class establishment. I read about this restaurant in Trip advisor and was interested so i made a reservation. We were not disappointed. The service was great, the atmosphere pleasant and the food different and exceptional. We took the waiters recommendations on most choices. Thank you very much for the visit. Poor service from cold and aloof waitress, no smile simply said "ready?" Food is very over priced for what it is - especially the raw dishes which are the first 3 on the mains section. Location is on a busy road with car horns being a problem here. Not a pleasant atmosphere. The only thing stopping me giving a poor review is that it is entirely plant based.Waitress also kept sneezing loudly which was also off putting.If you want plant based food go to Manuka, you will not be disappointed and it is on Beach front too.Hi there!I'm really sorry to hear that the service wasn't up to standard during your visit. Unfortunately our waitress (who normally gets beautiful reviews) had a bad flare-up of seasonal allergy - causing low energy and sneezing - that day. Again, our sincerest apologies that this disrupted your meal.In regards to the traffic noise there is unfortunately not much we can do about that. Regarding the pricing we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. We carefully select the best quality and organic ingredients we can find and all food is made in house which is reflected in the prices. The raw dishes we have are very popular with our customers but of course everyone has different preferences. Very high ratings on Trip Advisor are totally deserved.We had an unusual request....birthday lunch for 16. We ordered a birthday cake and flowers as well as the usual stuff.Joy (who communicated with us to plan details by email) was excellent - both responsive and flexible on menu. So that was ahead of actual visit.Visit itself was excellent - the wait staff were friendly and efficient, the chef? (Dutch gentleman) was very friendly also. And the food was very good - particularly the starters ....beef carpaccio and goats cheese salad were both top notch. Finally the atmosphere is nice also with inside and outside spaces (outside under shade).A really good experience overall. Would highly recommend for special events but also weâd recommend visit for a more âstandardâ type lunch or dinner. Food and service Iâm sure would be same high quality.First of all many thanks for choosing Cascada Cocina & Bar to celebrate this very special occasion.
