A short walk from the city (touristic) centre, IO Osteria Personale offers an excellent culinary experience in a cool and stylish atmosphere. Classical Italian flavors taken to another level (shown from the chefs âpoint of viewâ as he modestly states in the menu). Great wine list as well. Friendly and helpful service. Would certainly go there again.

We had dinner at Touch last night.Hidden gem located in Santa Croce area.Air conditioning restaurant . We had the tuna tartare and the grilled calamari. Both were delicious.For desert we had semi fredo. Really good meal.Donât miss this place.

I had 5 guests for dinner and we all had a wonderful experience.The food and the wine were fantastic and so was the service.Although I'm not vegan or vegetarian I found the food extremely satisfying and full of taste. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you are in Florence.

This is a lovely little wine bar in the back streets ,very handy for the Four Seasons Hotel.A very genuine establishment run by Father and Daughter, She speaks excellent English ( thankfully ) She does all the cooking taking orders and some of the service. Dad just cleans up :) . A very reasonable price and excellent traditional Italian wine bar food but venturing towards the exotic. we started with a truadional cheeseboard then followed with smoked fish , for desert my wife had a very impressive chocolate fondant as good as she had ever had I hade Sicilian cream and pastry dish which was very good as well

We went to this modern restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews and werenât disappointed. The restaurant is quite small so a reservation would be helpful. The menu is short and apparently it changes seasonally. However everything we ate was very innovative and creative. The fresh tagliatelle was prepared with venison. The fresh spaghetti was served with pine nuts and mullet ( I couldnât taste the fennel). It was an unusual combination but they all went together well. The biggest surprise was the dessert, millefeuille with parmiggiano cheese and berries, again unusual but a superb combination. We congratulated the chef who apparently likes to play with food, creating interesting and delicious dishes. Service was good but could be better. Prices are a little high. Toilets are downstairs ( it would be difficult for a handicapped person).

We enjoyed a 3 course meal in this lovely restaurant just 5 min walk from our hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable when it came to suggesting dishes (and pointing out when âtunaâ dishes may actually refer to pork!). Complimentary Prosecco was served and good wine. Although expensive (we paid exactly â¬100 for both of us), which may be a fair price in Florence but seemed a little pricey when compared to similar restaurants in the centre. Recommended!

We first heard about Oliviero through the glowing review of Bon Appetit magazine and came to Florence and tried it. It was wonderful! We came back in 2018, and the restaurant was closed. We are back now, in September 2019, and it has re-opened with a bit of a new decor. Dinner tonight was a disappointment. We ordered an appetizer shrimp/calamari salad which arrived as the main course was served. We were constantly "up sold"- no, this steak is better at 1.6 kg even though we wanted 1 kg. No, this wine has bot been taken off the menu, so we dont have any, but we have a better one at 20 euros more. We were never served our wine, we had to pour for ourselves. Our old plates were not replaced, in fact, they wanted to serve our steak in the shrimp salad plates. Our "medium" steak was barely cooked, in fact it was blue and cold. The asparagus were overcooked but the roast potatoes were delicious. We barely finished our last bite and were offered the dessert menu. I think that the most telling aspect of this whole evening was that there were no Italians in the restaurant, just tourists. That says it all, doesnt it? We liked it then, but we will never return. We encourage you to move on to the many other, better, restaurants that Florence has to offer.Siamo dispiaciuti per la vostra esperienza non gradita, ma Il proseguimento delle portate e avvenuto su richiesta di suo marito, il quale inizialmente aveva ordinato un insalata di gamberetti e poi un un filetto alla griglia, cambiandolo poi con una bistecca fiorentina da 1.5 kg per poter avere anche il filetto all' interno.La bistecca le è stata servita di cottura media come da voi richiesto.Il Vino Rosso Di Montalcino che suo marito ha scelto di sua iniziativa, vi è stato servito tramite decanter con un accurata spiegazione dell' uvaggio.I vini a cui fa riferimento con prezzo superiore di 20 euro era un vino riserva di cui sempre vostro marito ha chiesto informazione.Per noi è prioritario il servizio al cliente, ed assecondare i loto gusti.Ci dispiace per la vostra esperienza e per non esserci capiti.Vi auguriamo una buona permanenza a Firenze.

We arrived a bit early and the restaurant was empty. They had a problem with the credit card machine and let us know we would have to pay by cash. That was ok for us, and as the restaurant filled (with many locals) it was ok for many. Sensz Altro serves food beyond the ordinary, served more like a michelin starred restaurant than a neighborhood bistrot. The choices on the menu are not large and it would be a poor choice for a picky eater, but for a foodie....go for it!
