Place was pretty busy on arrival. Many tables were marked with a "reserved" sign since it was around lunch time. We found ourselves a table we could share with another couple. Ordering our meal was easy due a limited lunchtime menu card. Service was swift and food tasting well. Since tables surface is very smooth and slippery our plates were moving around while cutting our sandwich and meat. A place mat would have come in handy on this one. Food was value for money. Pity about the mentioned detail.

We quite often visit this restaurant both with friends and customers/colleagues. There is a nice informal atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly. They offer a good choice of food which is always tasty. The price is reasonable, so all together a good choice!

A very busy fully booked restaurant on the 2nd day of Christmas and still able to do an a la carte menu. We did not go for that and took the 'surprise' menu. There was a mix of fish and meat but also the choise to not like one or the other. With 3 at our table, one wanted wish, the other only meat and the third person took the mix. This was NO problem or them. We had dinner at a nice speed and it was good too. Nice atmosphere in a 'historic' kind of place.

For me it seems very strange this restaurant # 6 on TA would expect a much better rating.We have been here several times after my previous reviews. Saturday with some good friends for the surprise men, weather was so good we dined outside. The surprise menu (37,50) was as always well prepared with not too common very delicious dishes. See the pictures. Great way handling water,1 euro for unlimited water service refills without asking by good restaurant staff.We went also on a Sunday and had the Easy Sunday menu (27,50) 5 dished can be selected from a menu with a lot choices and no suprise well prepared fine dishes This price/quality is excellent (restaurant was fully booked)Summary:Consistent quality good price/valueEasy Sunday excellent price/value very hard too beat.Would we return definetelyThanks for this excellent review, we try to do our best every day.
