Things to do in Truro
Wung's Express has a small but nice selection of dishes in their hot trays. The stir-fry is delicious, a bit spicy and I've always found it to be very fresh. The Bourbon Chicken is fabulous. Fast, courteous and friendly service, always! The atmosphere/setting is a mall food court but it is bright and the mall staff keep it very clean.

Great for family dining and corporate lunches, we're sure our menu at King Lam Restaurant in Truro has something to satisfy everyone's taste buds. Our dishes are inspired by the best in Chinese- and Canadian- cuisine, offering flavours and meals popular o
Ate here on a Sunday at 5pm. Two of my party had the #3 (s&s chicken, chicken rice & chicken chow mein) plus egg roll. They enjoyed this. I had the #9 (s&s chicken balls, chicken fried rice, ginger beef) plus egg roll. The ginger beef had too much sauce for my liking; the chicken balls tasted a bit greasy, as if the fat hadnât been changed in awhile, however were hot and had lots of sauce. The service was quick and server attentive.

Come taste a savory dish at China Rose Cafe. Explore a menu offering chow mein and wonton soup, priced at 11$ to 25$. They are readily accessible by car but also by public transit.
I had not eaten here for several years. The last 2 times it took so long to get our food for our group of 10 that we had to return to work late which caused such a fuss at work that I just never bothered to go back to this restaurant. I am retired now so I decided it was time. I went for lunch and had a chicken vegetable stir-fry and fried rice with a couple of egg rolls. While the rice tasted fine, it was obvious that it was a mixture of older and newer rice. The stir-fry was extremely bland but the vegetables were crisp. The egg rolls had been previously cooked and kept in a warmer... they were not crisp at all and were just barely warm. All in all, I was quite disappointed with the food. The server was very pleasant and efficient. The restaurant could seriously use an upgrade in decor but was clean.

I have eaten here twice. Had Chinese both times and it was very good. We did take- out. They give you lots. The dishes were overflowing. It wasn't salty either. Delicious! Will be going here from now on.

Come taste a delightful creation at Ho Ho Restaurant. This dining room offers chow mein and wonton soup for 11$ to 25$. You can get there by car.
Tasty and very cheap specials for the lunch time. Service wasn't very present for an empty place. There is more spots to try at Truro so we wont be back. Careful with the ginger beef on the specials card: its only ginger beef and no veggies and no rice.

Ate here around 5pm on a Thursday. A few tables ahead of us and regular pick ups coming in. Very clean, server was friendly and came over when we sat down. Put in order, received egg roll about 10 minutes later and then waited another 10-15 minutes for main meal. The egg rolls were good, hot and filled with meat. I had the s&s chicken, beef & broccoli, rice. Was average in flavour and broccoli was warm. Partner had lemon chicken, rice, chow mein. Good but not spectacular.
