Living in Tonga for 2 years, I frequented this restaurant at least 4 times a week! It is inexpensive and has a great atmosphere, as it is family run by a group of Chinese people from Guangzhou. The food is a good mixture of the best dishes from all over China, however the cooks do Szechuan amazingly well. If you are sceptical about anything (even the kitchen) you can walk out and see what is going on and no one seems to mind. ->BEST FOOD->BEST SERVICE->AMAZING PRICESNote: Take away is also available. Bookings are essential, as it is usually packed!

This would be mediocre at best in most places. Some of the dishes are pretty good but on the whole pretty good. Beware of the menu descriptions - Tongan chinese has it's own vernacular. The "satay chicken" is not satay chicken; probably a miss translation. I'd recommend the sizzling beef & black pepper lobster. The soups are hit and miss; one time it'll be really good the next blasé. Never had a really bad one here. Standards for food prep in Tonga are really low - expect to find bits of bone and hard cartilage in dishes where you would not normally expect it. Another oddity of "tongan chinese" food is that they actually will cook cucumbers as a vegetableâ¦however on the whole this is the best chinese restaurant in Tongatapu. Btw, they sell phone credit, beer and cigarettes as well.

I stumbled upon this restaurant and went back subsequently for its clean environment and good value-for-money food! Try out the Chef's speciality Chinese food and delicious milkshake. Location of restaurant is just one street behind main road in the city.
We are the only Chinese Restaurant in town, and at the heart of Neiafu, right at the waterfront where the Mariner's Park is. Tourists from the Cruise ships that have visited Vava'u this year, advised us that we should get listed in this global platform fo
In a place with a limited number of restaurants, we tried out this one because we were bored with the rest. We got a very inexpensive, flavousome Chinese meal. Mapo tofu scrubbed up slightly better than the braised pork, but for the price it's hard to complain. We threw in a fried rice, but both dishes came with mounds of boiled rice.
Had lunch here three times in a row while doing a consultancy at the nearby public hospital. Place was clean. Food typically chinese, basic but flavoursome. Value for money, will be back,

Okay this is not great Chinese, but when you are in Tonga, most of the Chinese places are barely up to takeaway standard. The quantity and quality of food was good and service was fine. Comfortable dining but nothing special. All the usual suspects on the menu and well priced.
