My wife and I visited Nipa Hut in Newport for an evening meal with our friends.We were treated to a great welcome by the staff and chef who is the owner.The food is superb quality, a real taste of the phillipines at a really affordable price.It was great to try so many different types of phillipino food and I have to say that everything we tried was excellent.We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu !!Definitely worth a visit.

By far the best Chinese in Cwmbran or Pontypool. Have tried the rest now try the best.Always a flawless meal with proper chip shop chips (amazing fyi).Taken so long to find a consistent Chinese as we're from Griff and we would drive to Oakfield, Pontypool and Cwmbran but always hit and miss with all. This Chinese delivers every time.We always ask for no peppers or onions in our food as my wife is picky and each time there is none. Its brill. No moaning for a change from the other half. Would thoroughly recommend and the guy behind the counter is always friendly and happy.

The friendly owners have been here several years now and the food is superb.Whenever a"cannot be bothered to cook tonight" mood hits us we simply pick up the phone and ,more often than not,our food arrives within half an hour and, most often,sooner.The food is always delicious with good portions_so good we sometimes have enough to eat the next day.Highly recommend.
