Clean & hygienic food and the service is moderately good. This is the only reliable place in and around Peradeniya town area for lunch or dinner. Little over priced with respect to the quality of food but prices falls within $ 3-6. Ordering over the phone for takeaway is also possible if you are busy.

Outside of town, this small restaurant is new and ready for business. It shows off with low prices and good food. We ordered the vegetarian burger with egg and rice and noodles to go. The burger was great, especially the sauce that comes with it. The rice and noodles were fine and tasty. The young gang tries to convert this place into a more hip hideout, where you can chill and enjoy good food for a low price. It still needs some work, such as a little more decorations and better music. But they try hard and do their best. The focus is on food and that is what's most important to start with. A promising place, definitely worth a visit!

Popped in for impromptu lunch and we quickly escorted upstairs (I think where tourists are meant to eat!). Took the waiters recommendation - we all had Paratha (delicious) and I opted for a prawn curry. It was excellent - both in terms of quality and value. The place is obviously popular with tourists and locals. It is clean and friendly and I would definitely return. If you donât fancy spicy food, try their rice dishes - my sonâs chicken fried rice was really tasty.

Visited for lunch based on the recommendation of our driver.It was spotlessly clean. The food (buffet) was very tasty and fresh. The salads were lovely. The fruits varied and tasty.The restaurant is light, bright, clean, modern and airy, with a contemporary feel to it.Well priced at GBP 5 for buffet lunch.Recommended.

Things we liked:-Garlic and ginger greens-garlic ginger beef and chicken-ok selection of dishesThings we thought we âmehâ:-prices are a little high-Chinese style but not authentic. Things we didnât like:-roast duck/chicken was extremely dryYou are unlikely going to find a real, authentic Chinese restaurant in Kandy. We were looking for a change from Sri Lankan food so we were happy to dine here. It was ok but your final bill will be quite high. Itâs definitely way better than other âSri Lankan/Asian/Chineseâ restaurants that claim to make Chinese food. This place comes closest to food that actually resembles and somewhat tastes like actual Chinese food so if you too are looking for mixing it up while you are here you can do a lot worse than here.Would recommend but be warned.

We had a nice dinner at this cafe, which feels touristy and yet very welcoming. The place was full tonight around 7PM. The menu is Chinese and western and includes an impressive list of cocktails. The food was good and a small portion just enough for one serving. Friendly staff + the best view over Kandy and the lake that I've seen, as the restaurant is set a bit uphill behind the Temple. Go there after dark for a great view!

What I liked most about this restaurant was fresh juices made from many uncommon local fruits like star fruit or dragon fruit.
