We stopped in for lunch on my last day of California visit (11/11/18). Sadly the restaurant was seriously understaffed. The bartender appeared to be the senior person on the floor and there was only one hostess, handling the phone and to go orders. There did not appear to be staff to clear the empty tables; many which remained that way for our entire visit.My rating is based upon the food and terrific attitude of the staff but the appearance of the dining area and the wait were unacceptable. Management needs to improve the staffing, bottom line. This is my first negative experience at New Moon, all prior visits have been much better. I trust constructive feedback will be taken in the spirit intended.

I haven't eaten here for over 15 years, but what a pleasant surprise wen I returned.We ordered a mixed lo-mein, pan-fried dumplings and two types of soup.Food was good and plentiful. Service was friendly.They do not serve wine or beer, but we were allowed to bring our own, there was no corkage fee....Prices are very reasonable, especially in comparison to the New High-End Chinese restaurant that opened up the street.They are very busy w/ carry-out ordersYes, I 'll go back

This extremely popular Asian gets mixed reviews as some of the dishes (string beans with garlic and cucumber salad) are outstanding whereas the dumplings are good (good use a little more seasoning and flavor) and the sticky rice dumplings are merely fair. Overall a very good experience. Go at off times to avoid a long wait!
