Kulim Forest Restaurant

This restaurant is situated out of nowhere. It seems that we need to drive through a secondary jungle and narrow pathway before reaching this restaurant. The restaurant is comfortable and has simple setting. There is a little pond with koi fish. The food especially seafood is fresh and nice.

Stayed at Fuller Hotel behind 99 while I was in Kulim and was looking for breakfast beyond the basic one that the hotel provided. I was pleasantly surprised to find 99 :DI didn't think too much of it at first; however, the food was delicious, the serving size was great and the price was amazing.I was given a bowl of Curry Mee (BIG) for the price of RM 6 - WHAT A STEAL! There was chopped up long beans, a sliced bean curd, quarter of a hard-boiled egg and a healthy serving of curry chicken. I suspect the curry tasted so flavorful because of the curry chicken c: YUM! They also had tofu with pork meat (probably non-halal >-<) which had very good texture and was, as you would imagine, wonderful to eat.I was so impressed that I am presently writing this review, corrected their name and location on Google Maps, switched their category from point of interest(?) to restaurant and attached a label. All this to say, I really enjoyed their food – if you’re in the area, why not give it a go too.Wherever you go, hope you have a good meal!
