Where to eat Chinese food in Atlantic City: The Best Restaurants and Bars

July 21, 2020 Renato Branum

Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Atlantic City. It's the East Coast's answer to Las Vegas. Atlantic City's casinos draw tourists by the car- and bus-load, but even if your main objective is to play some blackjack, you'll want to save time for sightseeing. Stroll along the famous boardwalk with its numerous amusements and eateries or visit the historic, recently restored Absecon Lighthouse. Several fine courses attract golf enthusiasts, and in summer, local beaches are popular with families. Water-based activities include parasailing, charter fishing and tall ship cruises. Casino hoppers have 12 establishments to choose from, which run the gamut from elegance to a Wild West theme, so there's something for everyone's taste. Those who remember Atlantic City in its pre-gambling days can wax nostalgic with a taste of saltwater taffy, which has been an Atlantic City specialty for over 100 years.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere if the restaurant, with its impressive decor. Our server was very professional, friendly and efficient. He explained everything for us, so we were able to order with confidence. The calamari salad was very good, a mix of sweet dressing, bitter greens and crunchy squid. The five spice duck was perfect. The one item that I would recommend giving a pass on is the pitcher of zen-gria. It is $47 for a pitcher of mostly ice. It was hard to know if the drink actually tasted good or not, since the ice watered it down so much. Other than the sangria (again, I stress, don’t order it), it was a flavorful, satisfying meal.

Kwi Noodle House

Reviewed By SuziQzie

I stumbled upon Kwi one night while looking for late night eats in AC. I’ve tried the noodle bars in most of the casinos and none are as good as this one! My go to is the wonton soup and salt and pepper pork chops. The wonton soup is served in a big bowl and has big wontons, vegetables, shrimp, chicken, pork and noodles. The flavor is delicious. We ask for chili sauce to put in it to give it a little kick. The pork chops are served with diced onions and peppers and are amazing as well! We live about an hour from AC and will make a trip down just to have dinner at Kwi!
