We enjoyed a fantastic meal here whilst spending a week at nearby La Fonte. The restaurant was recommended by the owner of La Fonte but suggested we book to make sure as it can get busy. I called and made a reservation no problem. The service, advice etc were all fantastic from the owner and his daughter. He came and explained all the options on the menu and what the daily specials wereWe opted for all courses and am glad we did as each one was superb. It was truly the best meal weâve had so far on our Italian tour and I donât expect it to be beaten. I went for the Tuscan salamis starter, the mother Edaâs spinach and ricotta stuffed lasted and duck sauce, the âTuscan Tunaâ (amazing pork loin) before ending with the tiramisu. The other half had the pecorino and jams, followed by the pasta with cheese and sausage (this was amazing) and followed with the beef fillet and the chocolate dessert.Iâd return without hesitation and strongly recommend all stopping in Certaldo or San Gimignano to get down there and give it a go!Grazie per la vostra bella recensione è pura felicità per tutto il nostro staffGiampiero Niccolini

We are staying in town for several days and decided on pizza and salad for dinner and IâChiampa was perfect. The server was very nice, the salad was fresh and the thin crust pizza was delicious.

Visited with friends , small but very nice outdoor dining area with amazing view on the surrounding hills.Good rustic Tuscan dishes , worth mentioning the panzerotti ( kind of cannelloni filled with ham, sausage and cheese) and the home made pasta with duck sauce.Disappointing cheese cake Will come back to try the meat courses !Loris the maitre is indeed a great addition to the value of the service.Great place for tourists but maybe not the kind of food locals would enjoy.Dear tuscanymichele,We are very happy to have met your expectations. The good cheer of the waiter (who literally leaped out to great us) and the folksâ good cheer made this a great place to eat. Wild boar and olive stew was fantastic. Pasta, also. Great meal and nice place to stop. We rode bikes from Selvatelle and couldnât hope for a better place to re-fuel.

Very nice place with extremely friendly personnel ... good food ... very reasonable prices ... we had lunch there with five people, chose the three-course-menu, paid 55⬠in total .... in and out in less than one hour ... looks also great for dinner ...

This restaurant is perhaps one of the best Iâve ever enjoyed. The dining room in this centuries old villa is beautiful with antique furnishings. The tables are adorned with chargers and crystal stemware and fresh flowers.The menu is very creative offering stuffed asparagus, Liver pate, and quails egg beef tartare.I had the Liver pate which came in a large turrine and was enough for 3 people to share. Naturally, I ate every bit of it. Superb.For an entree I had the Wild Boar which was delicious.They have an excellent wine list starting from 18 euros.This was such a lovely experience that we are going again in 2 days, before we leave Tuscany.

Boscotondo was recomended for their Florentine steak which is apparently raised on a farm nearby. We were not dissapointed. The waiter also recommended a very good Brunello di Montalcino to accompany it. Sorry I didn't take photos. You have to go and experience it yourself. We returned a few days later for pizza from the wood fired oven which was also exceptional and reasonably priced. This is a popular place for locals and their families and much of the ingredients seem to be locally sourced. The waiters and cooks were very friendly and happy to help as we worked our way through the menus. Luckily their English was far better than our Italian.

Were recommended to go here by some fellow travelers... we were not disappointed. Great range of pizzas, cooked beautifully... attentive professional staff, lovely relaxed somewhat "upscale" atmosphere...we thoroughly enjoyed it, and would return in a heartbeat. Recommend reservations on busy nights!

Stopped here on our way back to Certaldo. Went for lunch. The small little road might be tougher in the dark, but highly recommend it, as it was one of our best meals in our month in Tuscany.Hi Tom,superthanks for your beautiful comment!
