As it is summer, the bar/Restaraunt is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The owner, Martynas has another restaurant in Kaunas. We were very happily surprised to eat creative, well prepared local foods, and be able to eat outside away from the bar sounds. Their selection of whiskeys and bourbons surprised me. The owner worked in the US for a few years and has a good sense of taste and how to prepare foods.Try it, you will like it.

first restaurant after the Hill of Crosses on the highway from Riga, Latvia, to Kaunas, Lithuania. Just north of the twon of Siaulai. The restaurant is attached to a small agrotourism hotel. Food was local, fresh, and delicious.

We were a group of people for lunch. Food was on time and as a traditional food- not bad, but we ordered something else and they brought wat they had, no explanations. The waitresses was looking at as as we were burglars. Very unwelcome. The prices are good though.

I honestly didn't expect much since this place looked to me like roadside services for people passing by (which, where I'm from, usually means fairly low standards), but the food here was wonderful. I stopped for lunch and ordered a chicken breast and mashed potatoes. It sounds fairly simple and I was imagining how it would taste, but the chicken was seasoned in such an extraordinary way and was bursting with flavour. I wish I had that recipe. The restaurant itself was like a big characterful house and had a good atmosphere and great service.

Great place. Cozy interior and helpful staff. One of the best meal there - philadelphia steak, really good taste! I can say that this place is quite expensive but yeah they have some great meals!

We had lunch here in May enroute to Riga from Vilnius. Since we were in a group(pure vegetarian), the food was pre ordered. Spring rolls , creamy tomato and carrot soup were excellent appetisers as we moved to the main course of falafel followed by icecream cake. Overall, excellent service and great food. Located in the main town with inviting ambience, worth every visit!

Very nice old and rustic setting in this underground restaurant.I had potato pancakes with mushroom sauce. The pancakes were not the best but he sauce was delicious.Staff not at all rude, but not exactly warm and welcoming.Good enough place for a quick meal while visiting, but I wouldnât advise going out of your way to find this place.
