This is a pleasant restaurant with a small but varied menu. Service was excellent and prices were surprisingly low for such a restaurant by the coast.When we visited it was not busy and we started with the spinach soup which was very good and served with gorgeous homemade breads. We continued with a truly delicious pasta. So far so good. Unfortunately the sole was not good; somewhat overcooked and I felt not completely fresh. This was served with potatoes which were undercooked - all in all not particularly tasty. Desert was the quirky Buddha which went down well with some members of our group. There was a good selection of wine but because of the main course I can't give Aviator an excellent rating. Our visit was in that down time between Christmas and New Year when supplies of fresh produce may well be erratic but a chef should remove items off the menu if he cannot obtain the best produce. I would visit again but would be cautious when ordering fish.

We visit this place for late lunch. When we entered the place was full, but they find us a small free table. Staff is very polite and friendly. The food was nice, specially home made pasta and we also like seafood salad and small stuffed chili with anchovy. They definitely can improve open red wine.

We have been there to eat local meat dishes. I liked it very much. Juicy and tasty food. It is a little bit away from Umag located in Valica. It is worth a visit as the food quality is good. The garden is nice and perfect for sitting outside in summer.

She said the dough was too thin but still excellent. I was not so picky, ate everything without comments lol. In the end we both weren't disappointed, since the dishes were tasty. Excellent beer on tap. Good wine too. Good coffe. Big tables, plenty of space. Olive trees to spark the surrounding on the terrace. To begin with, they have a nice and accomodating surrounding; private parking and indoor/outside possibility to seat.That pretty industrial feeling with old lamps, bricks and thick wooden tables. Big copper barrels to make beer with all pipes attached really makes the ambient good. Although not the fanciest place, they do really know how to prepare and serve dishes with style.Food has improved a little bit, been there a few times with friends. Good tap beer (made in house) to seal the deal. Selection of spirits is good too.If you are in the area, be sure to check them out. Near the main road, impossible to miss.

Restaurant Boem is located in Beli Kriz close to Piran and Portoroz in fact is in the middle on the hill whit beautiful viue .The restaurant is very close to the bus station the visitors must be careful to pick up the bus for Beli Kriz in both way from Piran and Portoroz..Big parking , nice staff, good local food , beautiful view to Italy is a reason why to visit this restaurant.

The lack of a sea view is probably meant not to divert your attention from the pizzas, which are truly remarkable; other dishes are not bad either. Staff members are very helpful and friendly, prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Stopped here for a very late lunch had scallops and tuna tartar for starters then we both had the veal steak with shared side orders of salad and fried potatoes. Good service, food arrived promptly (the restaurant was very quiet) and was delicious.

For one of the best restaurants in Piran, we certainly did not think so. The bread was good and the service was fine. The area was very sticky and hot because itâs in a side street. My parents had risotto with asparagus and scampi. It tasted ok, all I could taste was cream. My brother had the chicken and dried ham and it was ok too. It wasnât served particularly well. I had the tuna steak with spinach and potatoes. The tuna steak was fine but it was overdone, chewy and tasted more like ham than anything. The potatoes were fine and the spinach tasted dirty. Iâm sure there are better options on the menu, but what we had wasnât worth having.

Situated between two top class hotels, this restaurant served wonderful quality grilled fish. The fish was presented complete and de-boned and served by an experienced member of staff. I wandered into this restaurant for a late lunch after realizing that the restaurant in my hotel was already closed. I am a foodie from the San Francisco area and also travel quite a bit so I am used to world class food. This restaurant is incredible! It absolutely rivals Michelin star restaurants in the Bay Area. I was dining alone as my family was resting or swimming. I ordered the carpaccio with truffles and it was fantastic. The plate of carpaccio was set down in front of me and the waitress had a bowl of fresh truffles in her hand. She shaved a generous portion onto my carpaccio. Fresh truffles are amazing because the taste is much more subtle than truffle oil (which can be overwhelming). I also ordered sea bass with truffles which was almost too good for words. It was a genuinely memorable meal and the service was outstanding. The wine was great also. My meal was ended with a small glass of homemade creamy limoncello. I am already planning my return!
