Just because it's your own special secret place.If you're on vacation in Balatonlelle, or staying on another side of Balaton Lake, or just passing by on autobahn and looking for a pitstop - drop everything and put Vitorlás Ãtterem on your roadmap. We visited the place with the family and friends. As we did not book in advance they did not have a table in the garden area but made place for the eight of us inside. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. They have a wide selection of Hungarian style food and they are all nicely prepared and delicious. Next time we will make sure to book in advance to enjoy the fresh air outside.

We ate at the restaurant at the 2nd of august 2015. Service was poor (practically non-existent; we had to clean the table ourselves as well as list our own orders) and food was hardly edible. A beef stew was served cold and, after returning it to the kitchen merely microwaved before being served again, on the same plate. "Grilled" vegetables were still half raw. None of the dishes were served simultaneously. Goose and chicken were leathery. Cheese sauce didn't seem to contain cheese. Entree was served after main courses. In conclusion: food nor service was acceptable. NOT AT ALL the nice, romantic place we were expecting. Frankly, it seems more than likely that the restaurant wrote previous reviews themselves. 0/10 would not recommend.

Considering the restaurant offer in this little town, Gianpiero is a very good restaurant, but dont expect any fancy. What they offer is nicely executed dishes, everything is very tasty but nothing will blow your mind. I think its the best restaurant in this town. The service was attentive however I would expect waiters to be dressed a little bit less casual.... Portions are nice. Recommend.

Glad to have our motorcycle to climb the hill(some ppl were walking!- yay for them). Enjoyed a perfect lunch with sweeping views as we gobbled up the chefâs platter ( charcuterie) with mounds of tasty cheese, meats, dried fruit and yummy bread, etc. we had the pea soup and the goulash soup. Katica Restaurant is a well frequented, cosy place on the shore of lake Balaton in Badacsony. The place is owned by a family, the stuff and the service is very nice. The food is literally in front of you within seconds and prices are frendly too. You can choose between the indoor and terrace tables and bring your children with you if you like. Higly recommended place if you want to spend a lovely meal with your family or friends.

I have been at least 50 times at this restaurant . Very good food, looks very nice. It could reach almost a Michelin star, which is rare here around Keszthely. Very nice staff. Small card, with a lot of changes. You wonât find Wiener schnitzel on the menu card Especially the deserts are fantastic and the â rakott krumpli â. Sebastian

This is the third or fourth time we have visited The Torony and it has always impressed. From the warmth of the welcome to the fantastic, freshly prepared food it is always a great meal.The menus are presented in multi languages and you have the option to eat inside or outside (covered)But best of all has to be the prices, a meal for 4, starters, mains and drinks about £70If you are in Fonyod, The Torony is definitely worth a visit
