You don't have to eat in the inner Clubraum-Cafe with its distant views of the sea across a field, but here food is served by the Host Chef by dispensation to smokers and ashtrays are ready to hand. Others not of that disposition can sit out side or in the outer restaurant but there the view is looking inland, It is a traditional family operated restaurant by the Jacobsens, serving an excellent selection of freshly caught fish, Good Flensburg Lager to drinkThe fish sander at â¬16.90 and the Seezunge ⬠28.50 can both be recommended, there is a good selection of other dishes on the menu. For those wanting a lighter meal try "Lady Toast" or the "Gentlemans Toast" listed on the menu. Ample car parking, difficult to locate off the main road to Flensburg but worth the effort. enjoy a nice 'digestive' footpath walk recommended to blow the lungs clear: besides the Baltic Sea, before driving away

Eine hochschwangere Frau fragte höflich im Lokal, ob sie dort die Toilette benutzen dürfte. Drei Frauen im Service, eine entgegnet der Frau:"Nur für 50 Cent!" Sorry Mädels, geht gar nicht! Das Verhalten passt nun gar nicht zu dem, was dort versucht wird rueber zu bringen.

Das Restaurant liegt beim WoMo Platz und war für uns gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen Platz auf der Terasse und wurden bestens bedient. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft und ausreichend. Das ganze zu einem angemessenen Preis.

We were recommended to try here by the owner of Speicher No 5 as she was fully booked the evening we arrived in Kappeln, and I am very glad we followed her recommendation. The food was excellent and in typically large portions, whilst the service was good. The hotel and restaurant are right by the marina below the bridge.Recommended.

Had lunch here while travelling on the way to Bremen. We sat on the deck in the sunshine and watched the river and the ferry and ordered lunch. It was rather a long wait before it finally arrived. Food was good but not outstanding which, with the setting it should have been. I had soup and my husband had schnitzel and chips. The many cakes in the bar looked great but we resisted as we were sitting in the car for the next few hours.

Had an excellent meal here one evening during my stay in Eckernfoerde for a conference. The restaurant is on the little main square and has a very traditional feel. Everything we ordered was excellent...soups, fish, chicken and desserts. Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.
