we were on holiday in costa rica recently and i wanted to find somewhere nice to take my new wife for her birthday, after a search on trip advisor i found Che Sirloin, what a lovely place this is, i booked our table for the evening of 28th june through facebook. All so easy, when we got there we immediatly felt comfortable and welcomed. There is a really nice ambience to the place, we chose an outside table. we had a really great steak dinner with drinks and it all came to just over $50, brilliant. The owners even messaged me the next day thanking us for our patronage and generous tip. we had hoped to go back before we flew back to London, but things didn,t pan out, if you are in coco beach definatly give Che Sirloin a look, you will not be sorry.Than you for your kindness Guy. This is a remarkable dining experience. The menu, wine list, food preparation, service, and ambiance are simply superior in every quality. To top it all, the delightful owners personally attend to the guests. You will be challenged to find a better dining experience anywhere worldwide. So if you happen to visit Guanacaste, this restaurant must be on your itinerary. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Abbocato, and Iâm now faced with the daunting task of what to do for the next anniversary. I guess weâll have to return to Abbocato!

The food is fantastic! Had the gallo pinto, the typical Costa Rican meal and it was perfect! The homemade bread is fantastic, daughter asked if we could buy a whole loaf. The avocado toast, best we have ever had. And the lemonade, wow!!! Everything was wonderful and we are so glad we found this place! We had a mixed meat plate of grilled chicken and beef. It came with french fries and vegetables. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. There was enough on the plate for me and my husband, and enough to take home for another meal. The service was very good. I especially like the decor that gave me that "big city" feel like New York of Chicago. I felt transcended. Loved it so much I went here twice during my week in Tamarindo. Excellent for solo diners as you can sit at the bar and the portion sizes are just right. This is a really fun adventure in Costa Rica near Tamarindo. We met the owner, Alex at the ranch and immediately bonded with his friendly manner and stories about South Africa (where he's originally from) and surfing around the world. Starting around 2:30pm, he matched the four of us up with horses and our own guide, who took us on a 30-45 min. trail ride up to the top of the mountain, where we met our ziplining guides. They suited us up in our harnesses and gave us instructions and also ziplined along with us as we traversed the mountain over the beautiful jungle canopy over 9 ziplines. We felt safe with them and we had a lot of fun.When we reached the base of the mountain, we were met with refreshing juices and wonderful BBQ dinner of steak, chicken, Costa Rican sausages, salads, pasta and veggies - as much as we wanted- in a beautiful private dining area. What a gem right outside the gates of hacienda pinilla. So far have eaten here twice during our ten day stay. First time everyone got fish and they ran out right at my order (sigh) so we came back a second time. Everything is awesome on the menu and they even made me a special fish plate as requested a salad and fish. Considering the prices inside the gates this place is worth the five minute trek. This was an incredible experience! Not only do you get a unique and delicious meal made in front of you while you relax, Noam also provides excellent conversation. Take the time to appreciate both the fine dining (each dish with a story and made from local ingredients, including from Noamâs own garden), but also Noamâs life story in general. You wonât regret it!Thank you Kate for being my first dinner of the low season: the two of you are so loving, and kind and fun. I had such a wonderful evening.

We ate here several times on our last visit to Coco. We were happy to find it open during October when other restaurants are closed. The protein bowl was a nice start to the day. My friends had a pulled pork sandwich which also had rave reviews. My second visit, I had the portabello sandwich, which was chopped portabello deep fried. Yum. They were testing out their new fish sandwich. My friends tried it and found it was also delicious. Their Sangria is unique in that it has some cloves added. We will definitely be back.
