All here is exquisite! With a unique creole flavor of this island! The seafood is very fresh and the "alcapurrias redondas" are awesome! The mofongo is delicious also the drinks are excellent. It's excellent for a stop in road trips and has family ambience here. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Sometime you can see to Olga the creator of this place seat at the tables. Very cheap prices for a best food in Loiza.

We have visited this restaurant and bar many times. Some nights they have karaokes and it can be maybe noisy but great ambiance. Service is good, fans (no air conditioning), you can sit outside (beware of the mosquitos). It has an excellent view of all the coast.Food is good, mofongo with whatever you want, affordable price.

Gathering of my wife’s High School friends. There were about 20 of us that the restaurant accommodated right in front of the beach. Tony, was our waiter and really took good care of us. Food was outstanding from whole Red Snapper to mixed seafood rice that my wife and I shared. Recommend for groups for great service and delicious seafood. Plenty of parking for easy access.

Kiosko La Comay

My aunt recommended this place and it was well worth it. It's actually ok the 13.7 km mark. We had bacalaitos (fried cod) and alcapurrias de Juey y de carne (crab and beef respectively). They were all so good! Not too mention that I got too excited and also ordered mofongo de carrucho but got too full and they let me get my money back for something that I didn't want. They were done cooking it but hadn't served it yet. Fritters with a view.

Donde Olga is a hidden gem according to my family and is a must try location. Menus are in Spanish and English and they accept credit and debit cards. Gotta try to paella where it says it'll feed two but should suffice for four people with appetizers. Simply delicious!

Kiosko El Boricua

This is a great little beach cafe along the road between Loiza and San Juan. The long lines attest to its popularity with Puerto Ricans, and the food is great and deep fried.

I have been to this place several times and each time the overall experience was very good! The food is hot and freshly made! The only issues is be prepared to wait any where from an hour to two hours! This place is very popular with the locals! All fried foods are made to order. This place is not like other places that has the food pre-cook and places under a heat light! The food is great, but be prepared for a long wait!

Mi Casita Seafood

Reviewed By 794vivianm

We ate here on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was busy but not completely full. The service was the slowest I think I have ever had. It took over an hour to get our food, and they did not bring our appetizers out first. I ordered the skirt steak and lobster. We also ordered the stuffed fried plaintain appetizer (sorry forgot the long Spanish name) based on the reviews. I thought my steak was very tough, hard to cut with the plastic utensils they give you. The lobster was dry and tough as well, not sure if that is just the way they are compared to Maine lobsters, which I love. The highlight of my meal was honestly the side of boiled cassava, which was delicious. The meal was also pretty cheap. My $41 meal cost more than the other two meals and appetizers though, and was definitely not worth the price or the wait.

The food was fantastic. The servers and staff were great too! This comfortable little place with parking in front was almost directly across the street from Aquátika. We tried one night and just missed them apparently, as they had closed at 7pm. So we went for a late lunch the next day. The flan de guava was delish!

This restaurant has fresh food and very tasty. Their lobster empanadas are excellent. Ask for the tamarind sauce. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable about seafood. Every time I go to Puerto Rico with friends, we stop there a few times during our stay.
