Sunset Beach offers a topside bar and tables or you can go down by the water for additional seating. Several items are available on their menu offering lighter fares for breakfast or lunch. Cocktails and beers available. Easy access to the ocean via steps and a hand rail. Diving, snorkeling, Snuba, and massages all available at additional cost. I have made Cozumel my bi annual vacation spot for over 30 years.It is always refreshing to come upon a relatively newer establishment that really shines.Casa Cuzamil your it.Was not a big fan of its predecessor The French Quarter however this addition to Cozumels restauraunts stands out as a winner.Nice staff and atmosphere but most importantly great food.

Stopped for another Margarita and it was the best one we savoured on our 2 week visit to Mexico. Just off main square and only 1100 peso. Very large, great relaxed bar.

On the island now. Set out yesterday evening to find Wet Wendy's, made a right at the plaza, instead of left. After being offered xanax, biafra, hydrocodone, coca, and other assorted sundries we turned right and The Thirsty Cougar. Banana margarita was massive and very good. Beer was cold service attentive and friendly. We had been traveling most of the day, so comfort food hit the spot with fried chicken and fries. Bonus; They have a great selection of glassware that we will likely return for. Definitely recommend.

Sister restaurant to the excellent Kinta. Was a much bigger space. Daniel the server recognized me from the first Kinta trip which was very nice. He even got the bartender to fix me the Margarindo that I enjoyed so much at Kinta (why is it not in the Kondesa menu? Shame, that). The Pulpo Linguine was just...okay. The octopus and pasta were a shade overcooked. At the opposite end of Calle 5 but also on the quieter side. I got eaten alive by mosquitos so next time I'll sit close to a fan. I went during slow season, so it's best to go earlier when the staff (in all the restaurants throughout the town) are eager to get the night started (or over with). Again, this place is on the fine dining side of things.

Authentic Chicago Pizza in Cozumel? Yes! This is the place. The thin crust is spot on. We have been coming to the island for 10 years, and make sure we stop by Ohana at least once. This is a family owned restaurant by a family that has been on the island for a couple generations.The restaurant itself is very warm and inviting. There is seating in the front patio, and a beautiful garden setting in the back. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The owners are there and welcome everyone as old friends. Aside from the pizza, the authentic Mexican dishes and Seafood are delicious. They buy from a local Co-op that is dedicated to sustainable fishing practices. And last but certainly not least is the Peanut Butter Tequila.....wow! Last trip we stopped by several times for a bottle to go.We canât wait for our next visit to Ohana!Thanks for your visit and opinion!We can't wait you to come back!

This is a dining experience. Great food and wonderful people and certainly off the beaten path. The fish and seafood is fresh and the food is well done. If you happen to be sensitive to the heat, this may not be your restaurant or island depending on your timing. It can be a little warm but it is always with it to me! The ceviche is fresh, the beer is cold, and the fish is whole!

After our last years visit with less than stellar service, we were invited back by Chef Paola Torroella, executive chef and general manager to "make it right". Again, making a reservation through Chef Paola, when we arrived there was a huge party taking place, when I told the hostess we had reservation, no one had a clue. I asked for Chef Paola there and after our greeting, all seemed OK. We were able to get one of the last tables for 4 in the front room with a beautiful view of the patio and waterfront.We were a party of 4, starting off with Margaritas (BTW great Margaritas). The food ordered was the Beef Carpaccio, Chicken with Rosemary and Potatoes, Pork Belly Tacos, Fried Fish Tacos and the Shrimp Mezcal Tacos.I think the food is delicious, Atmosphere is a beautiful old renovated home and service was much improved since the last time we wereHello akdeepdiverIt was great to read from you.
