Gwa-Gwa Resto is a family snack restaurant. Ideally located around La Maynard corner in Chateaubeuf area. Not far from the hospital. Itâs a barbecue joint where regulars create a friendly atmosphere in the large open room. At the counter you get copious local dishes, fresh vegetables, fries. A good spot.

Nous devions aller en soirée à l'étage et avons profité pour manger au restaurant. Le restaurant était loin d'être rempli et nous avons attendu longtemps avant même qu'on nous porte la carte. L'attente a été le mot de toute la soirée: pour servir 4 cocktails, pour ramener 4 plats de lambi frit, et pour continuer à consommer.Le lambi frit nous a été conseillé. Nous avons donc suivi ce conseil. Malheureusement le plat n'était pas assaisonné et les portions de lambi minime,nous n'avions pas l'impression d'en manger d'ailleurs. L'accompagnement de frites était minime aussi bref ce n'était pas top.Je ne retournerai pas manger dans ce restaurant surtout pour le prix du plat par rapport à la quantité: 15⬠pour 5 petits bout de lambi frit qui devaient représenter 1/2steak de lambi. D'autres restaurants proposent plus pour le même prix.

We stopped for lunch while visiting the artisanal shops. We were seated at 12:30 and received our first food at 2:05. Both my duck and my husbandâs beef were totally unseasoned. Our server was very pleasant but very rushed. Dessert sorbet that came with the duck was wonderful. We didnât want to risk ordering dessert or,coffee. Price was fair and location pretty.

Hidden up the stairs of the unattractive shopping mall La Veranda. Fair prices, good service. Original even surprising decor, fresh and colorful, a red bus as a bar, funny lights and swings ... Cuisine is also atypical. We shared Jamaican pâté and jerk chicken, conch gratin, crayfishes, Haitian griot de porc and black rice (djon djon), fried sweet potatoes. Delicious.

Entre Nous is located a bit north of Fort de France. It's a bit hidden, but there is a sign to guide you to their place. Seats and tables are put in the terrace and around the pool outside of a traditional Martinique casa. There are a few big trees and plants that provide shades to your cars and eating areas, an essential part for anyone who live or visit Martinique, because during lunch time, the heat and humidity can be brutal. I made a reservation for noon for 2 on a weekday. When we got there, it was 12:15pm, and the tables were not ready. The server didn't smile, didn't even greet us. He went directly to to ask us to choose whichever table we wanted. I asked if he could give some suggestion of where would be the best table to hide from the heat, and he gave me a look like it was not his job to choose seats for me, and then answer that "only I will know where I like to sit".The menu was simple. I had options to choose from 5 different set menus for 28 euros. The description of the dishes sounded very interesting, but when the food actually arrived, they were not so impressive. I don't eat much, so the portion was fine for me, but for my friend, the portion was too small for him. When I looked around, I saw that others' customer had also small portion, so I guess that's how Entre Nous serves it. The wine list was limited and the rose wine I ordered was not great. I was disappointed with the whole experience, from the food to the decor to the service, which is too bad, because the house could have been a nice place to take friends or clients out for a treat, but after that lunch, I won't be back.Hello, I just wanted to let you know that the Restaurant Entre Nous is now under new ownership. Piment Sucré is hidden away at the very end of Californie industrial area in Le Lamentin. Like a couple of restaurants nearby. Itâs a small place with colorful decoration and cozy atmosphere. Servers are efficient and friendly. Dishes are unpretentious but fair and light. For my last visit I ate a cream of turban squash, a roast of red drum with sweet potato fries and a coconut flan. All successful recipes of Creole cuisine.
