The municipality is located in northeastern Ohio approximately 50 mi (80 km) SSW of Cleveland and 35 mi (56 km) SW of Akron. Wooster is noted as the location of The College of Wooster. The population was 24,811 at the 2000 census and 26,119 at the 2010 Census. The city is the largest in Wayne County, and the center of the Wooster Micropolitan Statistical Area (as defined by the United States Census Bureau). Wooster has the main branch and administrative offices of the Wayne County Public Library.

Visited Spoon for the first time based on TA reviews. Not disappointed, great meal, see pictures. I had the Weird Science sandwich (turkey, swiss, berry slaw on grilled multi-grain bread) with kale chips and a cup of chili and it was fantastic. Wife had the Caprese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup. Son had the grilled cheese on ciabatta bread. Everyone loved their choices, delivered hot and fast to the table.

First of all, to the person who wrote the very harsh criticizing the "wait staff" at Local Roots...I am not sure that person understood that Local Roots is run by volunteers, not employees. It is a locally developed, and locally run cooperative. Local Roots strives to serve locally made, very healthy food. As I understand it, most, if not all of the food they serve in the cafe is made from the local produce that is also sold at the coop. There are awesome artisan crafts for sale there, too, made by local artists.

First time ever not pleased with order (take out this time) two panini steak sandwiches. Got home, meat was absolutely cold, bread barely toasted. Took back, not sure if the reused same bread or not. But the panini bread was hard as a rock, could barely eat the meat was so hot. Very disappointed we both threw away half of each panini that was left.

We had the lobster bisque which was excellent. The furnishings and layout are very nice and the location and parking are great. Soup samples will keep you from making a mistake.
