Located in Peppermill, Café Milano offers the best comfort foods, sandwiches and all time favorites at the café.
Milano was an adequate restaurant raunt. Service was slow, especially in afternoon. There is no wifi here, at least the rule is no wifi unless you are a hotel guest, so you dine without wifi if that's the only reason you are at Peppermill, but that's a small thing. Don't expect a lot from the food and you will feel ok about the food and service.

Yes, it's small. Yes, they have a limited selection of things. Theymake up for it with tons of charm, and they're the only game in town during junketeers enforced hour and a half wait for their charter flight! Let's show a little appreciation, people. They do an amazing job with the space they have, considering they don't even have a real kitchen. You can't do too much with just a microwave. That said, I now wait to eat on the day of departure until I get there, as I have developed a real taste for their hot dogs. I love them! I shop for books on the way home (bought 3 last time) as they have an unusual (and deeply discounted) used book section. They are also the only place that I've found that sells historic Wendover Airfield T shirts, as opposed to casino shirts. The best part is starting a conversation with either (or both) of the gals that work there! They have a sense of humor that completely charms us each and every time we're there. Well done, ladies! As an interesting aside, I think they're only open an hour or two/day, when folks on a junket are flying out.
Great place to stop for a cold drink! The pastries are quite good, too! Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice SBUX! Would definitely visit anytime.

We ate breakfast here on a recent visit to town. There was no wait, although it was a mid morning breakfast, and were seated promptly. It was crowded but not noisy. They serve all meals but we ordered their special breakfast, which is not on the menu, but you can ask for it. It is $3.99 and is one egg, bacon or ham, hash browns and toast. The food came timely and was a good temperature. It was very tasty and just the right amount of food. The drinks are extra and the coffee was very good. They do offer a breakfast buffet as well. The staff was friendly and check out quick.Next visit we might try lunch or dinner there as the pricing is very good and we heard those meals are good too.
