This restaurant looks nothing from the road but locals told me the Rumpsteak is legendary . OMG it was . Without doubt the best quality and taste of any steak I have ever had !! Beware the portions are ENORMOUS , and if you don't finish the owners may may a comment but if you are in the area do try it . It's old fashioned and quaint but if you like steak there is probably no where better !!

Most interestingly, the price we paid for a very substantial dinner here was a little less than we had paid earlier in the day for a modest lunch in Bernkastel, which probably says more about Bernkastel's status as a tourist trap than it does about this restaurant.Anyway, we had a beautifully presented dinner here with drinks, served with a smile. Also the portions were very generous. To make the best of it, make sure you've got room for it!The only small minus was that my stuffed chicken was a little over-salted, but it was still very enjoyable.They have a good selection of local wines as well, which we took advantage of.If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

Ein modernes und trotzdem gemütliches Cafe mit Gärtnerei, sehr schmackhafter Kuchen, guter Kaffee und mit viel Liebe innen wie auÃen dekoriert. Die Fahrt lohnt sich, der Service ist hervorragend :-)

Sehr schön gelegenes Weingut mit Cafe und Restaurant inkl Biergarten.Sehr leckeres Essen mit grossen Portionen zu günstigen Preisen. Diverse Kuchen/Torten zur Auswshl.Der Wein ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen!Wir waren gleich zweimal hier in unserem viertägigen Urlaub und würden gerne wieder kommen.
