Thasos or Thassos (Greek: Θάσος) is a Greek island, geographically part of the North Aegean Sea, but administratively part of the Kavala regional unit. It is the northernmost Greek island, and 12th largest by area. Thasos is also the name of the largest town of the island (officially known as Limenas Thasou, "Port of Thasos"), situated at the northern side, opposite the mainland and about 10 kilometres (6 miles) from Keramoti. First thing wich you'll fall in love with are the people who are providing an absolute amazing service stacked all the times with little treats . We came across this place purely by accident after following a footpath from Thassos town out to the headland and up to the Roman theatre.As the theatre was closed for works, we retraced our steps and followed the music down to Karnagio. It was just what we needed after a long hot walk and we sat on the deck by the sea with a drink and a hot waffle and ice cream and relaxed. There is a small beach and sun beds and what looks like good snorkelling, although we didnât go in the water. Will definitely revisit now we know where it is - good service and a decent lunch menu too.

Nice place for evening out. I visited him with friends and family. Next to the bar is the beach where the tables are located. The prices are affordable, and the staff are friendly.

Another establishment we have been visiting for many years.we stopped here most nights for a few drinks just to people watch and enjoy the sunsets.the G&Tâs were spot on and hubby loves the retsina and sprites.always service with a smile and reasonably priced.One of the best bars in town with the best view,see you next year.
