Went looking for a place with great food and atmosphere in the Northern Beaches suburb of Avalon recently. We were so lucky to find Avalon Organics. A family run business originally set up as an organic supermarket has branched out into the cafe business. Serving amazing coffee and a sumptuous menu we couldnât recommend this business more highly. Oli and his Mum Barbara cater to the local clientele and visitors like us with a lovely attitude and zest towards life and their products. Fresh and airy, contemporary interior......If you like healthy meals, with plenty of flavour, raw deserts and gluten free food, nut milk and coconut caps, as well as the regular kind, this is the place! Friendly staff who remember me even if I donât go every day. Definitely my coffee stop in Mona Vale. They even bake their own gluten free bread which you can pick up fresh from the oven on Tuesday afternoons, perhaps they bake another time as well ....

I think that Bronze Kiosk still serves up the best coffee in Mona Vale, great flavour and milk texture.Bronze Kiosk also has amazing views of Mona Vale beach.You can sit inside or outside and it is also a great place to bring your dog.The food is delicious especially the crab scrambled eggs.

Lovely cafe with tables/benches and chairs amongst the bookshelves, which are laden with books that tend to me a little more obscure than the commercial best-sellers in the larger chains (although some of them are here too). The coffee was excellent, and brought to my table by a very friendly server. How lovely to spend some time flicking through my new book while enjoying my coffee.

My friends and family have been frequent visitors for breakfast at this cafe with fabulous views of Pittwater and have never been disappointed however, on the last 5 occasions we have been really disappointed. The quality, flavour and presentation of the meals are just fair.There has definitely been a decline and unfortunately we wonât be returning.

The food was a little pricey but fresh and wholesome. The ploughman's lunch was delicious ad plentiful. The crab spaghetti was not gluey but tasty and light. Check out the corrugated iron wall?

Good coffee, good food, bit pricey. Very busy and hard to find s table for group of 6 and had to wait a while and ended up with a large table in the middle which wasnât convenient for conversation. Had coffee and homemade muffins which were delicious. Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed with food but it is on the pricey side for sure. As itâs near the beach, parking is a nightmare on weekends, be prepared to drive around to fit a spot and may need to walk some distance so leave plenty of time in advance.

It was by thankful happening, that we came upon this boisterous and happy place in the thick of Avalon's wooded suburbia. A tightly run family cafe that celebrates its Latin roots in all things colourful, tasty and vibrant, this is a must stop if you're exploring the northern beaches of Sydney. If you're lucky like us, you'd be seduced by the charm of Alfonoso himself on the guitar with a voice that adds verve to your coffee and meal.Thank you very much for your kind words Stefan. Not many seats, and only one big table- but our group of six didnât have to wait long for that. Fresh, interesting food, friendly, efficient staff and a passing parade of beach culture. Put it on your list- if you can brave the drive to the Beaches!
