Popped in al Barchet a couple of times for a cocktail or coffee and Tia Maria after returning from an evening meal as it was just across the square from our hotel, therefore not far to totter back over the cobbles. Loved the smiley face created in the coffee, made us smile.It's a great place to sit, relax and wind down after a long day out and just take in the atmosphere and watch what's going on. Pleasant and efficient service.

We went there to get some lunch because it looked really cosy. We had a foccacia with mozeralla, tomato and tuna topped with oil and rosemary. It was so delicious and it was big enough. The prices were also very fine and the staff were nice. We sat under some wineranks and looked at a medieval festival. Very cosy, I'll recommend it!

We stopped here a couple of nights whilst walking through lovely Malcesine. Sophie the lovely lady who served us is a delight a real asset to Bar Ancora. It is a great place to sit out and people watch and they serve good beers and wine and have lovely staff.

Lovely spot for a pre dinner aperitif. Gorgeous little seating area outside in a small square and on the Saturday evening we visited there was a live Jazz/rock band playing just around the corner. Live football on the rather large television which delighted my husband and I was happy out listen to the music. All in all a thoroughly pleasant experience with nice friendly staff.
