Lesbos (/ˈlɛzbɒs/, US: /ˈlɛzboʊs/; Greek: Λέσβος Lesvos, pronounced [ˈlezvos]), sometimes referred to as Mytilene after its capital, is a Greek island located in the northeastern Aegean Sea. It has an area of 1,633 km (631 sq mi) with 320 kilometres (199 miles) of coastline, making it the third largest island in Greece. It is separated from Turkey by the narrow Mytilini Strait and in late Palaeolithic/Mesolithic times was joined to the Anatolian mainland before the end of the last glacial period.

We went there too eat a late meal. We ordered sushi platter and another starte. The wine was good. But the sushi tasted old and was like the sushi you buy in the store and had been there for a couple of weeks!! We told the the waitress that we wouldnât pay for it and that we wanted her to remove it for our check. She then told use that it was the best sushi she had tasted and that we had to pay for it. But after she had seen use taking a picture of the check, she came back and told us that we could remove it after all. After we had pay she grunted and maid a face remark before walking away.Dear cma32,we are sorry that you didnât enjoy our sushi dish. Honestly, we are surprised with your comment since itâs among the best dishes according to our customers.. Seeing your photo we assume you enjoyed our delicious mini burgers and salmon tart. We respect our customers but we also trust our staff who are always polite. With all the respect, we didnât expect a negative review especially since you did not pay after all. This place is so warm, and not only because of the temperatures in June on the beautiful island of Lesbos. The service is good, the man and woman who own the place are really nice. But the food! Wow. Everything has its own special and unique taste, and everything me and my partner have eaten was delicious. We came back more than once during our holiday. Coco's is, in the back, equipped with a garden with beautiful flowers, which you would not expect coming in from the side of the road (which may scare you off a little bit, at first instance). This place, without any doubt, makes up one of the best places in Greece I have ever eaten.Thank you so much for your review for COCOS.We hope to see you again

Situated on the road to the church on the rock the DAK has a superb roof terrace ideal for catching the sun and people watching. With reasonable prices and quality snacks they should do well. Worth a visit.

Our go to place for a drink after dinner was Bebaâs Corner a great place for people watching and striking up conversations with lots of nationalities. It has a new owner this year Yannis who always made you welcome and found time to speak, also the young girl serving was very efficient and would remember what drinks you had.Good luck Yannis. We started each evening of our weeks holiday with cocktails at this nicely positioned bar looking out onto the square in Skala Kallonis. Expertly prepared, a huge choice and served with bowls of fruit and nuts. A highlight of the holiday. Nice for a morning coffee as well.

Without doubt the best breakfast in Petra. Real English bacon and sausages, and all cooked really well. Must have been about 5 times in two weeks and never disappointed. Like most restaurants they allow smoking however and this can be a problem (if like me you donât like tobacco smoke) as if you are unlucky you can have heavy smokers near you. As most places around the world donât allow this, itâs a bit of a shock in Petra.Really liked this place and a great place to chill.
