I have gushed about Bevelle's...it's really great food.But...Our last trip causes me to make a disparaging comment: Their prices are not cheap to begin with, but the quality sort of makes up for it. But when you pay $8.00 plus tax for THREE vegetables, you expect more that half a cup of food per vegetable. And that is with water and one little cornbread muffin. For instance, I asked for their green beans and sliced red potatoes. I got a half cup of green beans and ONE slice of potato...c'mon...really? My wife ordered three vegetables and fried chicken and was about $11.00 plus tax with water. We were so disappointed with the portions we sat and watch some folks coming thru the line who had their plates brimming with food, especially the ones with take-out boxes. Again, for the prices they charge, the owners (who also do the plating) could be a little more even-handed.And two rolls or muffins wouldn't kill their profit margin. We'll go back, but next time I'll speak up about the portions.

Excellent food and service, their gyro and sauce is amazing. I had passed here so many times and finally decided to try it. Delicious, homemade and lovingly prepared. The pride of the owners is obvious especially in their service! It was refreshing how they warmly greeted a lot of the customers who must be regulars. I want to return and try a lot of other items on their menu that looked fantastic.
