Located in the region of Lusatia on the Lusatian Neisse River, it is the second largest town of Lusatia after Cottbus, and the largest in Upper Lusatia. Görlitz is the capital of the district of Görlitz, the easternmost district of Germany. It lies opposite the Polish town of Zgorzelec, which was a part of Görlitz until 1945.

O lugar é bem aconchegante, com vários tipos de cadeiras. Além de uns meio que sofá cama na janela pra você se esparramar. A cerveja, como não podia deixar de ser, é deliciosa e o preço é o padrão de 3 a 4 euros meio litro.

Herrlich in einem alten Gut gelegen, ruhig und noch nur ein paar schöne Schritte vom See mit Wander und Radweg entfernt, haben wir bei strahlendem Sonnenschein im Innenhof unseren Kuchen genossen.Einfach herrlich... Wer etwas warmes möchte dem sei die Pizza empfohlen.

This cafe are so familiar, some Hollywood films are shoot in this cafe, very very nice ambiance, feel more in Paris than in Görlitz :) they serve so many great drinks, we try black russian, cuba libre, mojito, capuccino, americano and flammkuchen. all is good and serve greatly with friendly staff, she is so charming taking all our order patiently and willing to help since more menu is in German languages.

Much like the Roots restaurant in Lyttleton NZ this gorgeous restaurant sources locally, focuses on organic/bio foods and fairly traded products too. The menu changes daily and given the small sized kitchen it is wise to book. Vegan and gluten free options, excellent cakes and matching wines are available. The location is charming. There is a lovely back garden as well as a well appointed inside. The front of house doubles up as bohemian style little cafe. I highly recommend this wee joint for the food, service and philosophy. Thanks for a lovely meal.

What a great find. Lovely setting, nice staff, good service. Fabulous range of food and really, really tasty. Do a great breakfast menu, lovely lunch dishes, great cakes and ice cream. It's all vegetarian and mostly vegan. Check the opening hours as they're not open especially early in the week.
