Don't be put off by the location, the Franklin Farmers Market is much more than vegetables and fruit. SweetWeeds is a Saturday morning must. Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh and delicious. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the products offered. You would have to search long and hard to find baked items anywhere near as good as those offered by SweetWeeds. Make it a destination and be sure to get a business card so you can contact them for special orders.

There are not a lot of choices. I was a little confused at the menu, which is on a chalk board, but finally, with the cashier's help, I was able to order. We are vegetarian, and we ordered a burrito bowl (I think), which was delicious. It was offered at $8.99 with beef or chicken. We ordered just the vegetables, which were really good. However, I was surprised to be charged the full $8.99. You would think that the item would be at least $1.00 cheaper without the meat. I can't say enough how really good the food was. I love my ice tea with a meal, and they only have bottled tea, which to a ice tea freak, is not really ice tea at all. So, we opted for water. It was tepid water, because they have no ice. I probably would not go again. I thought it was too expensive for just a bowl of vegetables, and tepid water with a meal, just didn't make it special enough for me. Meat eaters, bottled drink drinkers, would probably be happy.

I must say that the food was very good. We had heard quite a bit about the food and was not disappointed. That being said, the restaurant caters to the pick up food traffic and much like a drive in fast food place the inside patrons are often neglected to keep the take out patrons happy. So, terrible slow service inside restaurant and so slow we are not planning on going back.

Saw this place searching Franklin TripAdvisor. It has a short opening Thursday through Sunday and morning till early afternoon. It is mostly a breakfast themed restaurant touting locally sourced foods. My wife had a breakfast bowl with grits, sausage gravy, biscuit, bacon and sausage. I had a burger on a pretzel bun with pimento cheese and bacon. I don't like pretzel buns or pimento cheese. Both dishes were excellent as we split up our orders. The ingredients were clearly fresh and savory. Service was very good. The only downside if there is one is it is pricey. I don't believe you would be disappointed if you gave it a try. PS. It is very small with limited seating.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The place doesn't look like much from outside but what a great find. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is great and reasonably priced. As everyone else has said, the pancakes (especially banana) are to die for!

My husband and I ate there for lunch and took 2 ginger s salad which were good with plenty of roast beef. BUT the salads were served in plastic take away containers with plastic utensils, dessert was the same and the drinks served in styrofoam cups. I asked the very nice waitress if they were recycling and the answer was negative. It is the 1st and last time, we eat there as I do not wish to encourage such waste thus the rating.
