Puddings to die for. Reasonable price. Good quality wine to complement. Warm and cozy atmosphere. 10 out of 10.Thank you, we look forward to seeing you again:)

A friendly local pub just off the beaten track in Street, Somerset. Locally sourced, home made dishes. Local real ales, local farmhouse cider. B&B available Only a short walk to Clarkâs Shopping Village
I came here with eight friends for an end of season skittles do.Have to say the pub is very nicely decorated with a warm feeling too.We all had either steak, gammon or burgers as well as a few starters and knickerbocker glory to finish.Every course was just superb, tender steaks, lush chips and plenty of it too.We would all come back here again without hesitation.Hi Maddoyle Thanks for the great review, we are over the moon that you all enjoyed your meal with us.See you again soon.

3 out of 4 of us chose the chicken gougons and we did very well - the batter was crispy and light and lovely chicken breast inside made for a great dish. The chips are worth a mention as well, crispy and not greasy. Would go there again and prices very reasonable as well.

Pillars is quickly earning a reputation for one of the best venues in town. Set over 2 floors and a secluded alfresco terrace, the ground floor bar offers an extensive range of wines, Champagnes, beers, ales & ciders as well as its own brand of home brewe
Five of us had a really good Sunday lunch. The beef and lamb dishes arrived promptly and the portions are more than generous and very tasty. Desserts took a bit of time to arrive but we were informed why and when they came they were delicious.

Thanks Sue and all your lovely ladies for providing a fantastic, tasty buffet, birthday lunch for my daughter.Everything was exactly as I'd hoped and much appreciated by all - my daughter even shed happy tears on arrival. You catered for everyone beautifully, Peg was so chuffed that you even provided vegan rolls and a cupcake just for her - thank you I wish I'd taken a picture of the glorious cupcakes and Victoria sponge birthday cake. They looked so delicious everyone just dived in!!!All kinds of tea and coffee flowed, I don't think anyone was left wanting. You are totally fantastic, once again THANK YOU FROM THE HEART I'm really glad you all had a wonderful time and your daughter enjoyed herself and I'm glad the vegan rolls and cupcakes were a success,it gave us the chance to explore this option to see what we could come up with. This traditional tea rooms is situated opposite the famous Abbey and looks onto the bustling and unique centre of Glastonbury. The place is warm and friendly with a great selection on the menu. The menu ranges from freshly cooked breakfasts to light lunch
Visited on 24th September and cant reccomend highly enough! Both my husband and I had a toasted sandwich, pot of tea and cake. I had the coconut and lime cake, it was the best cake I've ever had in a cafe (and that's a big statement from someone who loves tea and cake!). Service was excellent and the interior was super cozy

We are a family run business of over 30 years. All our food is Home Made in our kitchens with the best quality ingredients, ethically and locally sourced where possible.
We popped in for mid morning drinks and cake. None of the cakes were priced that I could see. We opted for a flapjack which was ok and a slice of summer berry cake - large portion but tasteless other than the home made jam and at well over £4 a slice was some of the most expensive cake I have ever had. The coffee was average. We would not return.

We had less time in Glastonbury than we had hoped, so I checked Trip Advisor and booked with only a couple of hours' notice. The place was busy, has a good atmosphere, varied clientele, friendly and efficient service and a good drinks list. The food was plentiful and enjoyable. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the burger and I the entree-sized Meze board, which was too much as the main meal for me. It was filled to overflowing with delicious dips, spreads, veggies and bread.Despite this, I managed to fit in an Affogato, one of my favourite after-dinner options, which I only tried as I had never seen it offered with chocolate ice cream before.I enjoyed it very much and found the combination of chocolate ice cream and Frangelico delightful. The best meal we had on our first trip to Devon and Cornwall.

Recommended to us by the owner of a holiday cottage nearby, the recommendation was worth it for the quality of the steak I enjoyed, along with the chips and the accompaniments. Not the biggest range of food on the menu, and if my wife was writing the review she might have given 4* as the lasagna was not to her taste (plenty of mince, but only one layer of pasta, and to her taste a rather thick coating of cheese on top). Portions quite large. Would have liked a "lighter" option for desserts, the three on offer on the day we ate were quite stodgy so we settled for just coffees. Booked a table as it was a Saturday but it wasn't overly busy (in June but before the Glastonbury festival) and our reserved table (along with several others) was in the bar area near the kitchen rather than the restaurant area. Never-the-less quite pleasant surroundings. Service was unhurried - occasionally difficult to get the waitress' attention.
