This is a lovely pub inside, would love to visit in the summer and be able to sit outside. Nice couple of eating areas inside so you are not all sitting on top of each other. Great menu and prices, specials board is good too, great variety of different foods. Good price. Good staff too.

After a 30km walk on the Dales Way, a meal in the restaurant was wonderful. Leon looked after us so well. The fajitas and sweet potato curry replenished is beautifully!An interesting and catchy 60s revival ukulele band added great atmosphere. A marvellous evening!Thank you for your brilliant review, we certainly appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback. We are delighted to hear that the meal you had hit the spot after your massive walk, and that Leon looked after you very well, we will pass the comments on to him. The local ukulele band play every Tuesday and set a wonderful ambience in the pub, we are glad you enjoyed them. We hope you will return when you undertake your next marathon in Grassington! Enjoyed another lovely meal at the Clarendon with three friends who all praised the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The owner is particularly proud of the amount of ingredients which are sourced within a couple of miles of the pub.I can't understand the comments of the previous reviewer related to game food. You come to a country pub which prides itself on local produce and then criticise it for cooking grouse!

Set in centre of Grassington, ideal location, the cafe offers a wide range of choices, including breakfasts, lunches - or simply tea/coffee and cake. Food includes plenty of choices for dietary needs - gluten free, vegetarian etc. Portions are generous and freshly made. Seats available both inside and outside (back and front). Service is very friendly and welcoming. Suitable for all ages. Well worth a visit.

My son a professional chef was looking forwarded to our visit for dinner and he was not disappointed. The food and the service was of a very high standard as would be expected from an highly regarded establishment. Not cheap but the whole experience is worth it.

We visited again yesterday (20th) and we were not disappointed. Everytime we come, it's always fantastic. We managed to get a lovely table outside, near to the fab looking little sheds, sitting in the sunshine in such a peaceful setting... Bliss! We expected to wait a while as it was busy, but it's hardly surprising as it's our go to place when we visit the area. Our coffee's and toasted teacakes came out quickly and the girl who served us was so friendly and happy. In fact my husband pointed out that I always say how lovely and friendly the staff are here, clearly they are happy in their work and it shows in their service. Welldone! Thank you for yet another lovely, relaxing visit, with superb coffee. Please thank you team. See you all again very soon.

What a nice little place! A good deal of attention has been given to make this quite tiny tea room into a memorable, comfortable evening restaurant for a couple of nights of the week. The place was packed and the kitchen a little stretched. We had an exceptionally good meal with very chatty and efficient service. Definitely worth seeking this place out if you're planning a visit to Grassington.

Fantastic establishment- lovely friendly staff. We called in for lunch and had the soup, which was obviously home made and delicious, served with gorgeous fresh bread. The attention to detail is fantastic, and presentation is first class. The burgers are delicious, as is the cheese on toast and soup. Basic food served with a twist of real quality!

Professionally run by (apparently) an excellent team of ladies. Friendly, good service. Home-cooked, fresh food (the pie was excellent). Vibrant atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. Just fitted us in without booking mid-week in October, so suggest booking to be sure most of the time.

This was the choice for dinner when my walking chum and I (after an afternoon supping Timothy Taylorâs ales) picked my daughter up from the adjacent station ahead of she & I walking the BHF Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The food was very tasty and the service friendly & efficient.
