This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, and was suggested as a local favourite. The staff did not speak any conversational English, and that is probably a good thing. The location is next to the water, and if you are there during the day and are able to get a table on the balcony you should do so. Our dishes were both seafood. The food was very good, although perhaps the seafood was slightly overdone. The service was courteous and efforts were made to accommodate our broken Portuguese. The costs were slightly higher than some of the other locals, but I would still recommend this restaurant.Dear customer,Thank you for your stay in our restaurant so as your evaluation. We'll be more aware of the cooking Point above referred.In that time we lacked of good English, but good will we'll never forget! We were very pleasantly surprised upon discovering delicious Mexican food in Brasil in Caboose Frio, Rio de Janeiro. The food was superb and the owner was very friendly and helpful, we definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was surprised by their menu, which is quite exotic (Brazilian cuisine and Sushi). The fish was fresh (what to expect when you are on the cost?). I would stick to the local fish cuts. Friends ordered Brazilian Bbq with sides, all looked very good. Servings may serve several people (family style).

loved this restaurant. we stopped here only because it was the busiest of the all lot of restaurants in the same road. we got bahia's cooked prawns and we loved it. portions were big. we later realized that thehouse specialty is steak (or picanha how they call it), as we saw almost everyone ordering it. From the look and the smell, it looked so good. reason why we will have to go back here again at our next available opportunity.

Me and my girlfrien went to this restaurant ranked #3 on cabo frio's trip advisor rank(out of 1000+), we got kind of surprised, the local looks quite familiar, the server was very kind and we asked for his sugestion: we got a churrasco misto.... OMG it was amazing. We were a couple and we asked for a single serve, it was more than enought for booth of us... Highly recomend this restaurantMuito obrigado Bruno por acreditar nas avaliações feitas pelos clientes. Essa é nossa intenção, manter sempre um ambiente familiar, mas profissional. We have been visiting Galapagos' restaurant and its always such a pleasure!We have tried some different dishes but the best one, no doubt, is the BACALHAU COM LEGUMES ( its a codfish with vegetables) ! Just amazing !Worth a visit!

We had a wonderful meal at La Gondole. We were seated pretty quickly and ordered great wine at the suggestion of our waiter. All of the food was excellent but especially the Chef's Seafood Platter, served on a cast iron skillet. The Chef came out to greet us and tell us his story (He's Swiss). I'd recommend this place to anybody looking for a great meal in a cozy atmosphere in Cabo Frio.

Beautiful restaurant architecturally, limited menu and class c service. It's a shame because it truly is a nice ambient. Lobster, the most expensive plate on the menu was way overcooked and the waiter's response was..."thanks, I'll let the chef know". Service in Brazil is so sub para!

We tried a few different restaurant by the beach in Cabo Frio and this is definitely the best one. The dishes are really good and tasty, they donât just serve anything just because itâs a touristic place. We were very pleased and this will definitely be our standard choice when in Cabo Frio!

Burgers well assembled, the bread is very soft and has a original seal. The patty has a smoked flavor and delicious taste! I do recommend if you want to have a nice burger!
