It s hard to find a place to have a delight meal at Arraial do Cabo. This restaurant is one of them. I asked for fried schrimp and fish, rice and beans. Everything was really good. The bad point was the TV, it was turned on a police program which just showed up violence in Brazil. Not good to see while you are eating. Other place i ate well was at Idenir restaurant. As simple and humble Por do Sol, but with a nice meat and fish as well.

This a very good place is arraial. Food was very good, with many choices, the manager very friendly and the price more than honest (around 45 the dish for 2P).The atmosphere is not as great as the rest but this is what arraial is all about I guess!Excellent option

Fui com a famÃlia para jantar. Os hamburgueres são ótimos, há opção para veganos e vegetarianos, excelentes cervejas artesanais e também as puro malte populares. Adorei a decoração rústica tipo pub e o atendimento é ótimo. Detalhes como a batata frita servida em caneca e a conta vir num mini escorredor de batata frita são muito criativos e tornam a visita uma experiência aconchegante.

I love pastels and this place was target as the best pastel of the world. It's not true at all. It's small, the dough is not home made but bought on Nova Driving, Rio de Janeiro, away far from Arraial do Cabo.Looks and taste those pastel dough we buy at the groceries store in Brazil and you make the fill with whatever you want: cheese, beef, shrimp, chicken...etc.The shrimp filling was very good but the pastel dough horrible. The ground beef was horrible. The owner comes to us without shirt and showing his big belly lol.He is friendly but the pastel, one of my favorite finger food.I ate every where and I make them at home and I never had such bad pastel!

Went on the independence day of Brazil from Portugal (ironic)... anyway, food is amazing, comes in huge portions, huge as in we couldn't finish our fish with banana dish. The "bolinho de bacalhau" is by far the best I've ever tasted. It's smooth, not too salty, not too oily, lots of fish. The menu has lots of variety, but all the dishes have this Brazilian touch. Delicious, really.Location is right by the end of the "praia dos anjos", near the pier (where you take the boat tours or diving tours). Restaurant has a very chique seating area out back with a view to the beach.Wines: mostly Portuguese variety, with some nice "vinho verde" (fresh white "green" wine). I saw one from Uruguay, one Chilean also on the menu.Prices: affordable, decent, fair. Given the constant efforts of the vast majority of establishments in Brazil to rob tourists as much as possible, this place was a pleasant surprise. Overall: must visit.

A little gem in Arraial do Cabo. Noticed it on the way back from the beach and came back same night to try. The seafood platters were cheap and fresh and the waitresses really welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended

The reviews are right. It's basic and with warm atmosphere. We sat outside in the front and had some simple meats and vegetables and some entrees which were local food I can't recall but was delicious. The desserts were delicious - some lemon flavoured mousse type dish. Perfect way to end the day Don't come expecting high end and English speaking staff Thank you and come back!
