What an interesting place. The owner has created a series of areas where one can have meals or party depending upon the guest numbers. We sat under the trees for lunch. There are 400 + year old mulberry trees there for company. The food menu is good, the food quality also good. Staff attentive and helpful. Clean toilets. There are a 1,000 year old petroglyphs at the rear but as there is no barrier, people have vandalised them! Sad. Do go here for a relaxed laid back lunch.

One of the most exclusive restaurants in town where one must book days ahead. Run be celebrity chef Abdurahman Poziljonov, it offers some of the tastiest and tenderest meat dishes in Tashkent. The back of the restaurant is secluded for business meetings. Highly reccommended

Our family went to Franklin's while visiting friends in Tashkent and were surprised by the selection and excellent quality of Southern, American-classics, and Tex-Mex dishes. Between our group we ordered Jambalaya, Burritos, Sliders, hand-dipped corndog, and salads. All of the dishes were very close or indistinguishable from what one would expect in America. Also the service was great. If you can't get to the U.S. but are craving American food, Franklin's is a great choice.

We met up with some business associates at Brasserie while in Tashkent last summer and it is a very Western style bar with TVs showing sports and good cold beer on offer. Attractive staff, decent grilled meat dishes and relatively inexpensive with the good beer too.
