Great taste of fresh sea products for reasonable price. They have big variety of dishes as prepared and ready to eat as fresh sea products to cook. Itâs mostly looks like dining room and shop at the same time with self-service. I liked the food but didnât like huge lines and not clean tables, floor all around.

Had a fantastic night eating delicious food - incredibly reasonably priced - listening to Greek musicians with mostly local people. The staff were utterly delightful, getting a taxi for us and making it waited for us and giving us a drink while we waited. Couldn't have asked for more. This taverna is 5-10 mins from kalithea main road in a very small village with not a lot going on. That said, if you like good honest food its worth the short drive. We arrived without booking with a party of 10 so the owners had to jiggle a few tables but were happy to accomodate us. We started with a selection of cheese balls fried cheese and bread which were all very tasty. For mains we had a couple of kilos of lamb chops which were delicious and also some tasty souvlakis. We didnt bother with deserts as we were all completely full and the bill came to about 200 euro for 10 people including drinks, so about 20 euros each. We tried a couple of restaurants in rhodes town, but they served very mediocre tourist food and this taverna was definitely a much better decision if you like good food.

We have visited many food establishments around the whole of the island and I can say this is the best place to eat as the quality of food is exceptional and the prices are so good. A fantastic well run family establishment whereby the whole family work hard all year to maintain the highest standards of food which includes home grown vegetables, olives and olive oil.If I could rate my clients i would give you 10 stars ! We came here just before leaving for the airport after searching on trip advisor. We ordered the burgers and club sandwiches and they were all huge and tasty. Our daughters had the club sandwiches but they definitely could have shared one portion. There was no room for a dessert though! Give this place a visit especially if you want to be fill up before you fly.

So we ventured in here after a recommendation from someone in the hotel. we were not disappointed, and returned quite a few times. This is typical greek food (Grill) and it was very nice indeed, all cooked on a open fire, with attentive friendly staff, The portions are amazing, I still can't fathom how the greeks can eat so much. The food is extremely tasty and you are givin time to enjoy. The location is not the best as its close to the main road but sit towards the back of the taverna and you will be fine. Enjoy it all....

We ate here twice - the BBQ and the sushi. The BBQ was prepared wonderfully and the different dishes with it were really tasty. It was fun cooking your own meat to your own specifications. The sushi boat was just fabulous. We picked the 24 one and were full afterwards. We ate at about 6.30 pm each night but it does fill up quickly so reservations might not be a bad idea if there is a few of you. They also do a mean Hendricks gin!

We had selected Mamas as our first nights dining experience during our Ixian holiday.No disappointment there! Tho' we enjoyed all local meals here, Mamas was the best. The food? YUMMIE! Not a necessarily a Veggies place, but for those wishing first class meat dishes with recipes of outstanding deliciousness, it was the tops. Mine hostess could be both friendly and intimidating at the same time. We enjoyed her!On our first order, we asked for a recommendation for wine. Freely given, it proved a winner, and subsequent visits reinforced that choice.Every meal of every course was THOROUGHLY enjoyed. Even the manic passing traffic was forgotten!! not easily done!On our final visit (we had been sampling other establishments) we finished the meal with 'Mama-made 'Spoon' sweet with Greek yogurt'. This Cherry dish was just TOO delicious.Taking our leave at the end of the meal (end of holiday) we said Goodbye to the family in the kitchen. OH joy! There we found the Cherries in Syrup were available as a 'take home' option. We did, but not enough of them! Now, with Greek (style) yogurt but sans cherries, we mournt their omission.Lovely restaurant, lovely family and stupendous food. BONZA!!!
