This restaurant is off-the-beaten-path, but well worth it. At Pik N Pig you can eat inside or under the covered porch. We chose to eat outside which gave us a close-up view when a plane flew in! The food was great, and the staff, super friendly. Make sure you ask about the antique post office furniture in the entrance. By the time we exited, the place was packed. I can understand why.

Great beers, service, sandwiches and sides! All options are excellent, and we especially love the tofu bahn mi, which is a nice surprise for vegetarians. We also enjoyed the band performing there, which they typically do on weekends.

Great roadside place we found while we were in the area for our golf trip. You know it is good when you see a lot of locals. I had the fried bologna sandwich with fries. The sandwich was good and the hand cut fries were excellent. All of us really enjoyed our food. My friend had the barbecue plate. The serving was huge. I did have one of his hush puppies. They were very good. I will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Excellent customer service. These people KNOW what they're doing. Family friendly. Savory and seriously delicious. Everything is A+++ You get a lot of food, more than a normal person can eat. Going back to try every single thing they have on the menu. From the BBQ, brisket, ribs, Mac n Cheese, Brunswick stew, chicken wings, banana pudding. Too much to list. And it's cooked right there on the most awesome grill I've ever seen. If you're in Sanford, NC, you've got to go.

I rate this one as No.1 Best Country cooking around! If you want country food and seafood combined, You cannot beat it, period! Their fried chicken and barbecue are the best in town and the best in Any town! Them other chicken places are Not a close 2nd, either. They have a Great selection on the buffet bar and Plenty of vegetables. And their Slaw is the Best around, also. If you Don't like country cooking, then go to your fancy dancy restaurants and leave the country fixings to us
