Sometimes the most carefully planned dining experience disappoints and sometimes you stumble across a real gem and canât believe your luck! Casa dos Druidas is a gem! Great food...langoustines, calamares, etc. with fresh bread and the local red wine (served in a bowl according to local tradition.) No frills but wonderful food and great, friendly service.

First - it's expensive. 43⬠for 2 with a shared entree, 2 mains, the cheapest bottle of wine and no desserts.We were over charged for some drinks that never arrived. Pork ribs were very good but pork steak was served rare. When we pointed this out the waitress asked if we wanted it put on the grill longer! The service is so slow this is the first time we saw her in ages and we had long since finished eating.Locals get preferential service and there is no pilgrim menu.I noticed most pilgrim ate elsewhere. Now I know why. Avoid at all costs (unless you like rare pork and crap service).

I liked this place because we could get the typical tapas with a modern touch. My wife loved the tempura squid. On my side I found the little hamburgers were a hammer. The best is the offer mondays to thursdays with beers and small tapas for 1â¬. Galicia is a two thumbs up region!
