Went with a large bunch of friends The owners and staff did everything possible to accommodate our group. Best part going in large numbers is sampling many items on the menu - EVERYTHING was delicious. Know for the pork knuckle (amazing), I had the noodle shrimp salad and had bites of numerous delicious entrees. Only regret is not going more than once. Owners Sandy and Shep are the best! The group shot is how we felt after the meal.

Landhaus Manor Farm La Conchiglia - We came across this restaurant while driving and thought it would be a good place for lunch. It's right on the lake in a really pretty location. We were a little put off at first because the waitress was trying to seat us in the corner, and one of us would not have been able to squeeze into our seat because of a man (sitting at the next table) and his backpack blocking the way. We managed to persuade her to seat us at a different table, and things went better after that. We had a really delicious caprese salad and a good pizza - one is definitely big enough for 2 people to eat. There were a lot of people in there eating their own pizzas though. It was good food, and we enjoyed walking through the campground after our meal to see the lake. This was a nice find!I'm a little curious: is it normal for people to bring their dogs into restaurants in Switzerland? This is not allowed in most places in the U.S., due to the Health Department, but we've seen it a few times in Switzerland, including at this place. By the way, the dog was better behaved than most people! ;)

Hotel Krebs restaurant After scoping out Interlaken for a couple of restaurants to try during our weeks stay we came across one in the side of Hotel Krebs. It seemed to be aimed more at Swiss dishes which was what we were looking for. We walked in on a rainy Sunday night to the rather over powering smell of cheese!! Staff were clearing nearby tables and it looked like they might be closing for the evening but they assured us they were not so we went ahead and sat down. We were not actually expecting much as it was quiet and near closing time. As cheese was in the air then it had to be a fondue evening. We duly ordered and enjoyed this traditional Swiss meal with local beers. Some unusual accompaniments to the fondue: the usual bread and potatoes but also pears, pickled gherkins, and chillies. Bizarrely I liked the pickles the best. Service was good and we enjoyed the whole experience. Went back again 2 nights later for another fondue which was great. Decided to go back again on our last night. This time we tried the Raclette with cheese, sausage, steak and bacon you cooked yourself at the table. Really enjoyable and good value considering itâs Switzerland. Would recommend this place for a more traditional Swiss experience.

We stopped by for drinks at the street-side tables on our way back to the hotel one evening and while we did get acceptable service when they were there, the street-side drink service was very slow and it became increasingly obvious if you weren't eating, they didn't pay you much attention.The view from there is great, but the service ruined it for us.Dear Bud P,Thank you for taking the time to review your visit at our restaurant.I am disappointed to read that you have not received the great service we pride ourselves in giving to all our guests. Ok, I live in the Middle East so a decent bar is awesome. Murphyâs Irish Stout on tap is double awesome.Staff were friendly, multilingual, and a good bar/ restaurant pub atmosphere. Service was prompt, one minor miscommunication but happily fixed with a smile. The ribs were great, just a little dry to my taste but there was sauce available. If I get back to Interlaken, Iâll get ribs here again.

When you tire of schnitzel and rosti, check out The 3 Tells Irish Pub. Very cozy ambience and friendly service. If you're an Irish pub lover from the States like me, you'll feel right at home. We were in Interlaken for a week and had dinner twice at 3 Tells. The burgers are hearty, juicy, and very tasty. Fish and chips was very good, though the cod was a bit overcooked. Excellent range of beers on tap, decent local white wine, and a terrific soundtrack, ranging from classic American blues to Tom Petty. Yes, it might feel like cheating if you're an American in Interlaken, but really, there's only so much schnitzel a girl can eat.

Might seem a bit basic (order at the bar, your name is called to collect your food, and you need to clear your own table), but the food is really good. Nice burgers. Visited the Barracuda in September 2019 after a recommendation and itâs definitely worth the trip out too. The staff make you feel welcome and the cocktails I had tasted perfect! Great music, great laughs I would definitely visit again.Thanks to the staff!
